Hill Country Golf Club - Creeks/Oaks
About
The Creeks Nine is one of three courses at the Hill Country Golf Club. Named after the creeks that meander through the layout, this course demands accuracy with water coming into play on several holes and numerous strategically placed bunkers. There are also wooded ravines and a variety of elevation changes to keep golfers on their toes. The Oaks Nine is named for the towering oaks that blanket the course. The courses are situated on over 200 acres of scenic Texas Hill Country, giving them each a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and lush meadows dotted with native oak trees and clear blue lakes. Hill Country Golf Club is also home to a driving range and putting green on addition to the three nines.

Creek Course #9 Photo submitted by GreerGolf on 06/06/2017
Disappointing
I haven't played here in years, but it wasn't what I had hoped for from the past. The greens were slow, furry and had weed clumps. There was no overseeding. The fairways were ragged and uneven in condition. Positives were pace of play (3:30), on-course drink and food service and a good staff. For the money, this was overall a disappointment.
good course
first time to play the course. I did like it. greens were a little slow but rolled true.
Great day at HHC
HHC is in great shape.
Hole #1 on Creeks was a mess because of all the range balls on the fairway, but the rest of the course was nice.
One of the starters even came to us and offered to let us switch do a different 9 hole course so we wouldn’t be backed up as much.
That was very much appreciated. We ended up finishing the whole round in 3: hrs 20 min. Definitely going back soon.
Over priced
Course is priced the same as la cantera and the quarry and its 2/5 while those are 4 and 5/5. Fun track they just think it’s something that it’s not. Greens were slow. Will play again but only if the others aren’t available
Highly recommended!!!
Played both The Creeks and The Lakes courses, lovely layouts , specially the Lakes since it allowed me to play one of my best rounds of golf ever.!. Both courses can be difficult but if you place the ball well, you can score. Will come back soon!!!
Play a round and stay for a massage
Great place to just get away for a weekend. Great staff and excellent fairways and greens.
Course condition
This course is definitely in the top 3 of courses to play in San Antonio. The golf course is well maintained and in pristine condition. I love it!
Good
Hill Country is pretty good for the area. Very nice staff! The course was not in the best shape but played pretty well.
Best Course in South Texas ?
This is probably the best golf course in South Texas, all around. As always, the course was in top shape. We played 18 holes in under 3 hours. Great course and value.
Come on out
One of the best courses west of Houston and South of Austin. Green fairways and greens. Absolutely challenging and fun. Beautiful skillfull layout. 100-106 temps the place is in great condition. It’s worth the price you pay.
Great experience all-around !
The HHCC (twilight time) option was perfect for my desire of a "late round", with enough time to complete eighteen (18) holes . Not to mention the rate (@ that time) was too attractive to pass up , for a course of that caliber , that I've enjoyed numerous time .Daylight savings time & early evening weather made it the golfing experience I knew it could be . I'm glad I got in before your present (twilight) rate schedule . Always enjoyed the HHCC experience .
Great Course
Great round of golf! Great service from the check in to beverage cart!
