About
The Creeks Nine is one of three courses at the Hill Country Golf Club. Named after the creeks that meander through the layout, this course demands accuracy with water coming into play on several holes and numerous strategically placed bunkers. There are also wooded ravines and a variety of elevation changes to keep golfers on their toes. The Oaks Nine is named for the towering oaks that blanket the course. The courses are situated on over 200 acres of scenic Texas Hill Country, giving them each a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and lush meadows dotted with native oak trees and clear blue lakes. Hill Country Golf Club is also home to a driving range and putting green on addition to the three nines.

Great round of golf.
I have played this course a number of times. I really like its variety with the 3 9-hole courses and the pace of play is pretty quick if you go out early. I have to say the greens are not in that good of shape for the money I am paying. Maybe it is the time of the year. All in all it was a great round with some bumpy-ish greens.

Lakes & oaks
Played lakes every time on this a course and is always in great shape fairways, greens and tee boxes.
This is the first time I’ve played oaks. It is Very challenging and it too was in great playing shape.
Due to COVID-19 the cups were elevated to avoid contact help the putting game. I do think it was a smart choice to help with the social distancing.
All in all great day of golf.

Great Layout
The course has a great layout with some tight fairways but some open space incase you need to recover from a shot. The staff is amazing, friendly, and they have a passion for the game. Can't wait to play here again!

Fair
This course has three 9 holes courses. So you can play one 9 and finish with a harder or easier 9. It's pretty interesting. Many of the holes, there isn't a straight forward fairway, so if you're playing there the first time, I'd recommend playing with someone who has played there before. Definitely would play here again

Nice Course & Practice Facility
Overall a great experience. Course layout is challenging but fair (Oaks & Lakes Nine). Pace of play was perfect. Practice facility is very nice. You can get a complete warmup if desired. Range balls are included in the green fee, so that's an added bonus.

Beautiful!!
Course conditions were fantastic, greens allowed the ball to roll true, some fairways are tight so bring extra balls ( OB is penalizing).
The course is very playable for all handicaps, and not to undulating so don’t worry about sloppy fairways to ruin your approach shots.
Cart gal was always around to accommodate the golfers. Only gripe was wished the ball washers were a little soapy, ( like to see some soap on my ball). Love the Practice facilities are there, you can practice all shots,
clubhouse personal ,starter, & cart guys were all friendly. Everyone is sure to have a great time at the Hyatt hill country.

The course was very dry as I would expect in Texas but I was surprised at the condition of the greens? They were very rough with lots of bare spots and they did not roll well.

Great course, bad pace
Overall, I would play this course over and over. The ONLY negative thing I have to say anything about was the course of play. We were stuck behind a drunken slow group for about 15 holes before the marshall came out to say anything. But great overall.

enjoyed the course a lot
2 different nines entirely...played Creeks and Oaks. Course in very good condition. Greens were a little too firm but not bad. Fairways in good shape. Sand traps were perfect. Didn't see any hard pan at all.
I know where the Oaks got its name...that 9 was a bit more challenging than the Creeks...lots of trees and blind shots on the Oaks. I'll play again and know more about it next time.
Overall...very enjoyable course.
