Great place to play
This is an excellent golf facility. Staff is very friendly, range and practice areas are very good. Course is excellent! Really like playing here.
This is a "must play" course in north Chicago
Course is in great condition. Staff is frinedly and helpful. Great test of golf. Play the right set of tees. If you're not a legit 16 or below, no matter how far you hit it, play the whites or shorter.
One of the best
This is a fun course with excellent facilities. What really counts is good pace of play and the greens roll very nicely.
Worth it
Not the least expensive course, but you get what you pay for. Excellent conditions and a beautiful course. I would recommend paying the price and enjoy this great layout.
staff could be friendlier
5th time playing the course. On the first tee box the starter stood on the tee (which has happened previously) and was talking during a group members back swing. He was also condescending in telling us which tees we should play as if he knew our skill level. Also on the 15th hole a ranger told us we were playing slow and 2 holes behind when we clearly did not hold up play our entire round. Will be going to thunderhawk exclusively from now on for "premier" golf.
Great course
This course is one of the best in the area. Greens are fast. holes are somewhat tight with some water. This and Thunderhawk are probably the closest to a country club in the area.
Private Course Quality
Course is almost always pristine, however this day it was only excellent because of all the rain. They still did an amazing job in having this course ready for play, and the greens were fantastic.
