About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

Beautiful golf course in Round Rock, Texas
Always a joy to get to play this challenging 18 hole golf course. A big thank you to the maintenance crew, sweating it out day after day in the Texas heat to give people a chance to enjoy natures pleasures. The club house staff does an excellent job of taking care of customers needs no matter the situation. Looking forward to getting to play here again.

This course is Fun!
Traveling for work, decided to golf at a course nearby and for a decent price. This course far and away exceed my expectations. Course provides some nice challenges while still having fun. Great fairways and greens. Really enjoyed golfing here. I even got a ball marker to remember the round. I would recommend this course to others. Enjoy!

Very challenging
Course was in very good condition. Friendly staff.
Second time playing course. I am about a 20 handicap . There are other courses in the area that are a little more forgiving for the occasional golfer.

Good Course
Played in tournament with Ladies association . Had pleasant time its was windy and hot. A few challenging holes but had fun !

Teravisa
Really good course, but the pace of play was not good. Four hours and 45 minutes to play 18 holes teeing off at 7:30 in the morning is terrible. Never saw a marshal so no one was being held responsible.

Slow play kills another round
Made it through 9 holes in 2.5 hours with the back-side typically playing even longer. Last round I played in April took 6 hours. Just ridiculous. Didn't see a marshal in either round. Aim for 4 hour rounds and fall short at 4.5 hours. Don't "aim" for 4.5 hours and then do nothing to enforce it. Slow play kills.

Ridiculous pace of play
My buddy and I have played Teravista several times in the past year. Pace is always a little slow, but it took us 3 hours and 15 minutes to play the front nine. Six plus hours for a round of golf sucks!!! Two groups ahead of us were hitting from the blues but were lousy, slow golfers
We picked up at nine and complained to the pro staff, but they don't have any authority. I emailed Mr. Ben Carson and explained our disappointment and requested a nine hole credit next time. To this date, Mr. Carson has not even responded. We will not play here again. This is the poorest run course in the Austin area.

Weekend Golf is Bad
All the years playing never had it this bad. One hour to play two holes. Walked off. Came back two weeks later during the week. Five hours to play 18. Spoke to other golfers different courses they knew the reputation of this course. Everyone told me the same thing. Slow play they blamed on the owners. The course is nice. The staff were in a difficult position. Nice place to have a beer and a hamburger.
