Teravista Golf Club

They need to not put as many tee times for people so it moves faster.

The course is fine, but I do have an issue with the customer service. I booked a tee time for 3 golfers this past Sunday and 1 of the guys could not make it last minute so just two of us played. 3 days later I get an email from Golf Now saying that Tera Vista is charging me for my friend that had to cancel last minute. I didn’t even book through Golf Now!

I called the course to give them a chance to make it right and they told me there was nothing they could do. A golf reservation is like a hotel reservation they said and you must cancel within 24 hours or tough luck. I could understand if none of us showed up or didn’t even call but one guy couldn't make it last minute and this is what they do? I even made the reservation through the course website and they still hide behind Golf Now to issue the charge. Nice!

It was a very foggy and drizzly day so the course was not that busy. It's not like they had people on a wait list trying to get on the course. I think we saw one other group on the course the entire time.

I've been playing golf for 30 years now and I have never been charged by a course for someone in my group that could not make it the morning of. Family emergency you say? Too bad, should have been able to predict that 24 hours in advance.

There are too many really good courses in the Austin area with great customer service that you can play without worrying about Teravista.

I have a tee time at Grey Rock next week and they didn't even require a credit card. Go there instead.

Not too fond of the no cash policy. Cost two of their employees tips and drink sales.

Greens were in excellent condition for it be the middle of winter. All Tee boxes were easy as pie to put a tie in. all the fairways where basically brown but not patches of dirty anywhere. The great thing is they cut way back on all the edges of the fairways so you can better find your off center hits that faded or drawed into the rough now. Overall course is in excellent condition, but all the fairways are brown.

Really a fan of Terravista but sad to see when price comparable to Forest Creek and Star Ranch that rates are similar but have to pay for range balls at Terravista. When having to choose between those 3 a lot of times I choose the other ones just because of range balls even though I like Terravista the best. You guys really need to think how much business you are losing on something that should be part of base rate .

From an optics perspective makes you guys look like cheap skates

I inputted wrong date of Jan. 6 on the Golfnow app.

Wanted to play on Jan.5 and thought I booked it that way. Arrived at the course and they did not have my reservation then it was found as being on Jan.6, fortunately they were able to find me a spot for $57 after I had booked a tee time for around $40, so I was double charged, the man at the pro shop (Jamie) told me to call golf now and ask to have the charge removed from my credit card for $40 since I paid the $57 for the tee time. Unfortunately I end up paying two tee times one on the 5th and another on the 6th when I could only play on the 5th, but I was unable to contact someone at golfnow, if anything can be done to refund the tee time on the 6th it would be greatly appreciated, Jamie at the pro shop he would indicate to a representative of golfnow that was the case.

Somewhat difficult course in spots but very fair. You have to think your way around the course to stay out of trouble. Overall great value and nice experience. Definitely recommend snd will be back

Nice course and friendly club house staff, driving range nicer than most. Did however experience several frustrations. Some holes had loud distracting homeowners outside intentionally harassing players. Majority of sand traps were also full of water and not drained properly. Club house and the Marshall also specifically clearly stated it was cart path only, however after 1st hole players drove and roamed wherever they pleased not staying on the cart path as there was no Marshall enforcing the stated rule. Was also several balls on 18th hole, several players including me could not find their ball and was like an Easter Egg hunt since there were so many balls coming from the driving range, Should really have nets to block balls and keep them from getting to the 18th hole from the driving range or else have someone clean it off and keep them picked up and off the 18th hole.

Course is in good shape for December. I know it was the Sunday of a holiday weekend, but 4:45 should never happen if marshals are keeping things moving.

Management does not care about members. Spending money on games & letting course crater. Traps are terrible. Tee boxes unlevel. Maintenance going down. GM not friendly and tells players to go elsewhere if you don’t like it.
