About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

Great course
I’ll tell you what,,,, I’m coming from California to visit family and played this course, and it was great. Unfortunately I played in a day the wind was like 60mph! But besides the weather we can’t control, this course was awesome for the price I paid.
Very nice course
Course and greens are in excellent shape. Nice driving range and putting green is very large; challenging course from the blue tees
Good Course-Poor Course Management
The course was in good shape and the facilities were nice. We got caught behind a group on the back nine that should not have been allowed to play. The foursome consisted of two guys and two girls who were playing out of the guy's bags. It was obvious they were beginners and extremely slow. I called the pro shop about the situation and said they were aware of it because someone else had called. Bobby in the pro shop said there really wasn't anything they could do about it. Crazy, they run the course and can't manage it!! They not only were losing revenue but also alienating patrons of their course.
Central Texas "Gold" Course
Best course in Central Texas for the $. Period. At times the course lacks upkeep as all courses have a tendency to fall victim due to cash flow, weather patterns, and other variables. Some are controlable while others are not. As of 9-20-2019, the course looks great. They have been battling the current heatwave too. Always a good challenge and tee boxes for every skill level. The management seems to be doing a great job.
Teravista
Challenging and enjoyable. Course knowledge and management are definitely a plus here and will cost you strokes until you know the place. Pace tends to be on the slower side. In really decent shape given the lack of rain this summer. Looking forward to playing again and would recommend.

Teravista
A traditional Texas golf. Flat, wide open fairways .... might play in Austin but it looks like any Texas golf course anywhere in the state. Staff was friendly, conditions were good , just to similar to everywhere else.
Bad bunkers and tee boxes
They need to LEVEL the tee boxes and seriously repair the bunkers. They are NOT GOOD
Fun course
Course is always in good shape and very fair for all abilities.
Great value and good course
With play tour this today off the golf now coupon 25 bucks. Pesa play finished in three hours 15 minutes. New golf carts are nice, course not very well marked as far as yardages.
Greens had more San in them than usual which made for some interesting putts. Other than that, fairways and tee boxes were good as always.
Great experience
Course layout was enjoyable and appropriate for all levels. Staff friendly and attentive.
It's not a bad course if you like 5+ hour rounds....
5 hr and 25 minute rounds are far too slow and unacceptable, something needs to happen to make this more tolerable.
Pace of play was WAY TOO SLOW.....
5+ hour rounds are unacceptable and we certainly had one. Also the tee boxes need leveling and the bunkers are horrible. They need to spend so money and bring the course up to Average.
Getting better
Fairways and greens in great shape. Greens were fast. Tee boxes were dry and needed cut, bunkers wet and hard. My main gripe was showing up for 745am tee time and finding out the driving range was closed til 10am. Pace of play was great at just over 4 hours.
