Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

Sandy
Before booking this round I called the pro shop to check course conditions. The pro shop said the greens were in great shape. They turned out to be very sandy and inconsistent.
Good Place To Play Near Austin
Since pairing with the other course at Avery Ranch, the Teravista course has improved. It is currently in good condition, especially the fairways. You get a good lie if you hit the fairway. The greens are in great shape, with a couple of exceptions that had some places that needed attention. Noticed a big improvement in the bunkers/sand traps from previous years. Have always liked Teravista’s putting green and also the practice range, which are by far the best around.
Pace of play
We were a twosome, that followed a threesome. There were two singles be hide us. I will never understand why any course allows this type of situation. Pair people up! We never saw a marshal during our play. They need one to help with the pace of play.
Enjoyable Tera vista
Just finished my first round in a couple of years. Fairways and greens in very good shape but wish I could say the same about the tee bixes
Family Outing
Played a round with my wife and son on Friday afternoon. Although it was very windy it kept it cool. Course was in very good condition
Beautiful day!
I was lucky enough to be paired with a couple that plays at my same speed. No traffic in the golf course except for a few times that we had to wait for the group in front of us, never more than 3-5 minutes. Some tee boxes need maintenance and I also wish for players to be better at repairing ball marks on tue greens, but I guess that’s more on the players than the course. Overall a great time golfing!
Nice Layout
Staff in Pro Shop were very professional. I arrived early with my son and a gentleman brought a cart out to us. The course was very nice and well worth the money. The breakfast tacos were excellent as well. My son plays there often and live in BUDA TX.
Slow
We had a 248 tee time and got off at 4. We didn't get the last three holes in calling MONDAY. MAYBE A RAIN CHECK.
Great course
You cant go wrong with Teravista. They need more carts and afternoon tee times can get messy at times, but the course is worth it.
Great condition
The course was in great condition for this time of year and the greens were pure. We had a lot of fun out there today.
Good Value
I am a big fan of Teravista and an avid golfer. If you can find the GolfNow tee time under $50 the value is very hard to beat. I play some private courses around town that aren’t kept in as good of shape. The only downside can be pace of play. If playing on the weekend I will try to play early or at twilight to avoid the dreaded 5hr rd.
It was sleeting
It was sleeting and we didn’t get to play but no rain check or refund was given. Bull crap
