About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

Warm ‘winter’ round
We got a good day for golf in December. Got up around 80 degrees (love Texas). The course is in good shape, greens were smooth, proper moisture etc. No complaints. Some tee boxes were rough, but not really bad. A lack of rain around here hasn’t spoiled the course. Enjoyed it.
A Fivesome In Front Of Us
They let fivesomes play and there was one in front of us. The marshal came by one time during the round and told us he would tell them to pick up their pace of play. It did not happen. Very frustrating experience to wait every single shot.
Fall golf
liked the course, greens in good condition, pace of play was good. Enjoyed, would play again
Nice local course
The course winds through the Teravista neighborhood. Not walkable, but pretty well laid out. A bit slow on the weekend but a good place to play.

Course was in great shape. Greens were fast, and tough!
Enjoyed the play as the day was perfect...and I won the money!
Our 3-some did have to wait on a 5-some in front of us, but they were also waiting on some slow folks ahead of them. Wasn't a big deal since it was such a beautiful day to play golf.

Great course
I’ll tell you what,,,, I’m coming from California to visit family and played this course, and it was great. Unfortunately I played in a day the wind was like 60mph! But besides the weather we can’t control, this course was awesome for the price I paid.
Very nice course
Course and greens are in excellent shape. Nice driving range and putting green is very large; challenging course from the blue tees
Good Course-Poor Course Management
The course was in good shape and the facilities were nice. We got caught behind a group on the back nine that should not have been allowed to play. The foursome consisted of two guys and two girls who were playing out of the guy's bags. It was obvious they were beginners and extremely slow. I called the pro shop about the situation and said they were aware of it because someone else had called. Bobby in the pro shop said there really wasn't anything they could do about it. Crazy, they run the course and can't manage it!! They not only were losing revenue but also alienating patrons of their course.
Central Texas "Gold" Course
Best course in Central Texas for the $. Period. At times the course lacks upkeep as all courses have a tendency to fall victim due to cash flow, weather patterns, and other variables. Some are controlable while others are not. As of 9-20-2019, the course looks great. They have been battling the current heatwave too. Always a good challenge and tee boxes for every skill level. The management seems to be doing a great job.
Teravista
Challenging and enjoyable. Course knowledge and management are definitely a plus here and will cost you strokes until you know the place. Pace tends to be on the slower side. In really decent shape given the lack of rain this summer. Looking forward to playing again and would recommend.

Teravista
A traditional Texas golf. Flat, wide open fairways .... might play in Austin but it looks like any Texas golf course anywhere in the state. Staff was friendly, conditions were good , just to similar to everywhere else.
Bad bunkers and tee boxes
They need to LEVEL the tee boxes and seriously repair the bunkers. They are NOT GOOD
Fun course
Course is always in good shape and very fair for all abilities.
