Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

Best course in Austin
This course is the best course you will play in Austin. It has challenging pin locations with a great variety of play, it makes you think and allows you to make great shots you won’t have the opportunity to make on other courses. It will surprise and surpass your expectations.
Course in great shape
3rd time playing at terra vista
Great course
Great staff
Great time
Need to Work on Pace of Play
No matter what else is good, a 5+ hour round waiting on every shot sucks...
Happy
Great layout..cart only today. Some long walks but other then that it was really good.
Always a fun course to play
One of the best courses in the Austin area paired with a good Golf Now deal. Good mix of mainly straight forward and some challenging holes. Proper club selection is important on a few holes. Fairways and greens were in great shape......some fairway rough was a little deep but could still locate mis-hit shots. Wish this course was closer to my home in San Antonio area.
Great golf course
I have played Terravista several times and always enjoy it. The course has always been in great condition with just the right amount of difficulty to make it challenging
Nice course...just a word to the wise.
Really enjoyed the round. Just a tip.....the practice greens are waaay faster than the greens on the course. Practice greens were about a 11. Course greens were 8. Have fun!!!
Not for new golfers
I am new to the game of golf and have play this course twice. Both times I have not been able to enjoy myself and try to improve my abilities. Everybody's so worried about the pace of play and rush rush rush that I play horribly trying to hurry up and get through each hole. And end up having a terrible round. If you're just learning how to play golf this is not the course for you.
Great layout
Staff is very friendly and pace of play on Monday was great. Hats off too Jose for adjusting my tee time a little earlier . Cart girls are on time as usual
Fun Layout
Teravista is a fun layout with beautiful suburban views and true rolling greens. The only complaint that I have is their color of range balls. The ProVI practice balls look exactly like the ball I play, being white, and I lost a perfectly good ball in the field of play because of the number of practice balls in the holes on number 1 and 18. Please get some yellow practice balls or warn us before we go out to play a different colored ball on those holes. Otherwise, a great day of golf. Thanks!
Teravista
Course was in good shape for this time of year. Greens were actually softish and the fairways were pretty thin. Overall better that expected. Only complaint was that we didn’t the beverage cart at all. It was parked at the clubhouse when we made the turn. Got as a Hot deal, so for $22 it was a good round of golf.
Slow play
3 hrs to play the front nine, totally disgusting, had similar experience about a year ago. No interest in playing Teravista in the future.
Fun track in pretty good shape
This is a good track. There were a lot of bare spots in the fairways, but overall the course is in good shape. The pace of play was slowed by one foursome that would not let us play through, despite seeing us multiple times waiting on the same tee box as they were teeing off from. When a staff member came around we mentioned this to him and he spoke with the foursome, thankfully, picked up their pace. Kudos to the staff. Oh, it would be nice if the cart girl were out earlier. The first time we saw her was on the 14th hole at about 1:45.
Amazing Staff
Staff including Pro shop, attendants, starters, and bar were all amazing. Professional and focused on us having a great experience. The course is in great shape and the greens are immaculate. I cannot weight to play again.
Fathers Day Round at Teravista
I played Teravista last weekend with my son on father day. The course was in very good condition and the people we were paired with knew the course well and and were a big help in pointing out problems that were not obvious off the tee. The pace of play was good and we completed the round in 4 hours and in fact were able to tee off a few minutes ahead our scheduled time. Would certainly go again if we get the opportunity.
Course in fantastic condition
I have played this course several times over the last seven years and the course conditions have never been better! The superintendent has hit his groove. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are only two things that could push this course to sheer excellence: 1) hand out cold mango towels at the turn, and 2) find a way to keep the range bals off of the 18th fairway.
