Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

Great place at the right time
Teravista is great golf but we were there on family night. If you don't come prepared to wait, wait, wait it will be frustrating. Check course events before heading out to gauge pace of play.
Very interesting course
Course in good condition with lots of water but not all of it in play. Played in exactly 4 hours
Fun course
Rough a little deep, made it hard to find a ball that was hit just a little out of fairway. Great conditions. Super friendly staff.
wont go back
we were made to start on #10 due to a tourney. At the turn we were told we would have to play the back nine again as they scheduled too many tourneys that day. that did not work out well either so we played 7,8,9, then returned to #1 only to find another tourney starting... what a mess... everyone was mad sometimes we were backed up 4 groups deep behind the tee box (#5). will no go back
A hot day at Terra Vista
Terra Vista is in very good shape from tee to green. Even though the temperature was near 100 degrees I enjoyed the day. The sand traps are the only negative. They have little or no sand. I have played the course often and always enjoy it. The traps are long over due to be repaired though. It is a good layout and can be a challenge if played from the back tees.
Great course! Challenging.
I really liked this course. The fairways and greens are well manicured! The rough is fluffy and I had to work to get the ball out. Exactly like a good golf course should have. Beautiful wild flowers ran through the course. The course had plenty of cold water stations. Our cart 65 had some major front end damage. Put that baby away. I'm a new golfer, female, with a 24 handicap. Great course and challenging? You bet!! Just like I like them!
Great course
Staff is great and friendly.
Love the GPS.
Course is well maintained.
Nice Course
In town for business and decided to play nine. Course was in good shape. The greens were recently punched, but still provided a good roll. Great course for those who can work the ball both ways. Thumbs up for this one.
Consistently excellent course
Teravista has consistently been an excellent course. Practice facility is a plus. Course is challenging enough to keep you on your toes.
Tera
great course greens had just been popped and sanded last week or so only reason i rated condition as good, understand you have to do this.
Sad
Booked a tee time and showed up to the back 9 closed. When we made the turn, we waited 30 minutes to tee off. We found the course had booked tee times four minutes apart so pace was extremely slow. Was very disappointed.
Great Course
We had two foursomes (back to back). Even for a holiday weekend, we never had to wait, groups moved fast and the course was in near perfect condition. Greens were wicked fast, but playable and the fairways were some of the best I have seen this year (I would compare them to the TPC courses in San Antonio, maybe better).
I have played this course a few times and it is in the best condition I have seen it. This is a tough, but playable track (I'm a 19 handicap) and I would recommend to anyone.
Good course
Course was in good condition with the exception of the sand traps. They were very poorly maintained. That was the only disapointment.
Great course
The course is in great shape. The greens were excellent, pretty fast.
Course condition was excellent
Every time I play this course, the greens roll true and the fairways are clean. They do a wonderful job of overall course maintenance.
Great Course
I really like this course. Its in good condition and the staff is very friendly. GPS carts! Perfect!
nice course
Fairways and greens were in very good shape. No complaints there. The sand traps need some work...as in more sand. You can see the lining coming through on many of the traps. My only other complaint is that several holes have homes that are too close to the fairways. #4 is the worst. 15 feet right of the cart path and you're in a backyard. Still, a fun course that's not terribly expensive.
Beautiful Course
Course was in fantastic shape. Too bad my game was not at the same level.
Beautiful layout
I thought the course was a beautiful layout and challenging. I played from The Blues which is longer than normal for me but was still within distance on all holes. I would say traps need to be addressed more and needs more sand.
Recent rains have helped the fairways and greens
The course was in excellent condition. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Stay in fairway to second cut or bring alot of golf balls because the areas beyond are ball keepers.
