Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

I was satisfied playing at Teravista Golf Club. The only knock on the course would be the extremely slow greens.
Not Bad
We played on a Friday afternoon and it was a little slow. the courses was in great shape and it is a good layout. Take advantage of the front nine to post a good score, the back nine is a little harder. Overall we had a great time.
Great Layout
Great course and very friendly staff. Pace of play was great and course was in good shape.
slow play.
They had let two sixsomes off in front of me. I didn't even know sixsome was a word. Brutal pace of play. If this had been a four hour round I'd have had to go 5 stars.
Very good layout
Like the pace interesting variety of holes. Back nine is more difficult of the two and less distracting
Odd policy
Good course but not the friendliest staff and VERY windy both times played. Forced a single to ride in our cart with our threesome...never experienced that in 20+ years playing golf. Single was cool to play with. Just found it odd that they would require that.
Disappointing
I've lived in the Teravista community for a little over a year and have always like the course until recently. The greens had recently been plugged so I understand they were a bit fuzzy and slow but, the sand traps are in ridiculously poor condition. They haven't been raked or cared for in general by the grounds crew for a long time. It has become so bad that players aren't even raking after themselves because of their poor condition. Heaven help you if you land in one since you are likely to either be in mud or someone's unraked footprint!
Also, the pace of play is getting worse and worse with very little marshaling and even occasional 5-somes playing. I'm not sure when I'll return at this point.
Good Course
Pace of Play was great, got paired up with another single and we flew thru the 18 holes. Greens are typically kind of rough this early in the year, had been aereated and had not grown in yet so they were bumpy. Overall enjoyed the round.
Fun Day
Dealing with the inevitable aerated greens was not a big deal knowing that they'll be in great shape shortly. The rest of the ourse was in great shape. Shop staff was very friendly and allowed my father-in-law-to-be ride along in my cart for free....he just wanted to go along for the ride and fresh air. Can't wait to play there again.
awesome
this golf course was one of the finest golf courses I've ever play. I would recommend it to anybody who ever want to play a awesome round of golf.the staff and course management everything was absolutely wonderful.
Challenging
The course on a good day would be a challenge but with the wind blowing 45 mph it was very challenging. The course was in good shape and the staff was superb. I will definitely return
Teravista Golf Course
Great day at Teravista. Course was in good condition considering the unusually colder than normal winter. Pace of play was slower than expected because the foursome ahead of spent a bit of time searching the out of bounds areas for their golf balls. The starter was flexible let us change up the pairing..
Work needed
The course was in great shape for this time of year. The greens were fast but true. If there was one thing that needed improvement it was the driving range tee area. One section looks like it's for no members and needs some improvement, the other sections is for members of Teravista and is great shape.
An enjoyable round
A nice, fair course. Everything is there to be seen. Nothing tricky. Bunkers are not good but told being redone later this year. Very friendly and helpful staff in the pro shop
Great afternoon of golf
I have been golfing Teravista since it first opened. Lot's of changes over the years. Overall a nice time. Staff was friendly enough. Pace was a little slow. Course was in good shape for this time of year.
Best winter conditions I've ever played
I love playing teravista, it's one of my favorite courses. Normally I don't play golf in winter conditions, but this weather has been too good to not play. The greens were in fantastic shape, rest of course was in good shape. It took us every bit of 4 1/2 hours to play, but what a great day.
Great course for golfers of all levels.
This was a fun course with lots of character. Unique holes made the round interesting but not so challenging as to be frustrating. I'll definitely play this course again!
Teravista experience
The course is always great. The greens are very soft and bunkers are well maintained. Its a fun and challenging course from the blues. I only hit two fairways because the ball never stops rolling and you cant escape the wind, of course. Shot 86 & I will be back Teravista!
Nice course and decent value
Not the cheapest course around. I think Lago Vista has more value at about half the price. But Teravista is a solid course and well maintained. Greens roll fast and the fairways are pretty solid, especially considering I played in February.
Give them a go!
Grounds well kept
From tee to green the course is in great shape. Good lies on fairways & fast greens. Nice challenge.
