Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

If they could stagger the tee times more to speed the pace of play instead of packing it the way they do, the course would be so much more enjoyable.
Broke 100 Again !!
Fun time - had a few shanks into backyards but then had several 250 yard bombers right down the chute. Even chipped in on 9 for par. The course is ok we rather play Star or FCreek but they’re always booked solid. I’d like to see a ball washer at least every few holes. None here.
Avoid Gift Cards !!!!!
Terrible customer service. Tried to redeem a golf gift card and was told that it had expired and nothing they could do. The buyer of the card was not told of an expiration date and the card did not say it on it. They could tell when it was issued and that it had not been used, but because it was more than a year old, essentially "too bad". Talked to the check in person, the general manager and the regional manager for Magnolia Golf Management (the Teravista/AveryRanch/Falconhead management company). Reached out to the owner of Magnolia. No one cared.
No discount for walking. Same price for walking or cart
No discount available for walking. Even when the the course is cartpath only. Terravista Navy Ranch seem to be in a time warp like they’ve never understood the golf industry. I all the Premier courses in the world have no golf carts and caddies only and no car paths. Why would Terravista not have a walking golf rate?
Excellent course
I had a great round at Terra Vista Golf Course. We will visit this golf course next time. However, I paid $50.53 in advance, can this amount be refunded? The 4 of us each made payments at the golf course.
The Vista
It was a great on the course. The greens were good. Fairways were in good shape. We are definitely going to be playing here soon!
Very fun course!
Great pace of play, course Marshall was actively doing rounds. Course is very well designed. Greens are a little tall but in good shape.
Great course, poor pacd
Awesome layout, a lot of fun. Greens were just okay, but the rest of the course was perfect. Pace of play was absolutely terrible though.. front 9 took 2:45 on a Friday afternoon
Go somewhere else
Few complaints and it is the same as the ones you have already read. The pace of play here is the worst in the Austin area. They stack tee time on top of each other and it makes it hard to enjoy a nice day of golf when you wait 15 min in between every shot. The greens could definitely be better for the price. Staff is friendly and I would play this course again if they ever fix the pace of play.
Horrible pace, home of slow play!
Decided to give this place a try again after not going for 2 years due to bad course conditions and pace of play sucked, i made the wrong call. I thought playing on a weekday would have better pace but i was wrong. Played 3 holes in one hour so we were on a 6 hour pace, awesome (sarcasm). Also the fairways did have some grass but was super tight lies which sucked. Greens had some weird type of grass/disease going on, slow and bumpy.
I won't be going back to this course but if you want to spend a whole day playing a round, hot off tight lies and wait to hit a shot every 15 minutes, then this is the course for you.
Don’t book with GolfNow
Anytime I have booked with GolfNow for Teravista, there has been issues. Two times now, golfnow doesn’t send the reservation to the course. Show up and they can’t find me in the system.
