The Links at Land's End
About
Although the Links at Land's End has a location that is seemingly remote, many golfers have deemed it worthy of the trek to Yantis. The challenging round is coupled with a scenic and secluded location along the banks of Lake Fork. You won't see much water on the early holes, which play among mature trees, but it has a prominent presence on the golf course starting with the fourth hole. It's a layout that demands accuracy with tall grass and trees lining the holes in addition to the water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The stretch of holes from the sixth through the 12th is situated right on the lake, making you feel almost as though you're playing on an island. They offer the best views on the golf course. The Links at Land's End is a challenging but fair round that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Wish it were closer
Links at Lands end lives up to its name. You're not going to stumble across the course by accident! Playing longer than its c.6700 yes from the tips, there are enough variety of holes to keep you interested the whole round. I particularly like the excellent collection of par 3s. The fairways were mown tight so there was never a bad lie and the greens were consistently brisk. I wish the course was closer to anywhere but it's a great day trip.
The course was in great shape, as it usually is. Fairways were lush and the greens were full and consistently quick. Enough sand and water hazards to make the course challenging. A rainstorm blew in while we were on the 8th hole and we had to stop playing but this is a fun course to play.
Smooth and true greens.
I’ve played here a handful of times and this is the best I’ve ever seen the greens. Nearly perfectly smooth on every green. Soft and receptive but decent pace when putting. Rest of the course in good shape as well, but the greens were a true treat.
Off The Beaten Path
This course is about an hour and a half drive from where I live, but it is well worth it. The hole that border on the lake offer great views.
Great amenities
All staff was very friendly and the course was in very good shape. Will play again in the future.
Great course!!!
Course has always been well kept every time I've played. Some days the play is quicker than others but the course is always subpar.
Always great, beautiful course on a peninsula with lake views
Course in great shape even though it is winter. Greens in good shape and consistent.
Great golf anytime
Always a great time at Land's End. Course was great despite the windy conditions. Can't wait to get back out there. Greens were in great shape as well as the fairways, even after the 7+ inches of rain that fell a couple of weeks ago. Always challenging, never the same shot twice.
Gorgeous Course
This is a Gem in the Country on the lake. I played it any years ago when it first opened. It has grown into itself and now I live closer by. It is an awesome layout and in great shape. On Lake Fork a beautiful shot makers course.
Great Course
This is the greatest course and value in Northeast Texas. Hunter Smith is doing a great job as GM.
I really wish they had a course Marshall to aide in speed of play.
Always great, beautiful course on a peninsula with lake views
Course in great shape, played late in the day so she gave me a voucher for 9 holes which I didn't expect, sunset on the lake was great. On a Sunday and not busy felt like I had the whole course to myself. Great course, great staff, new carts, great price. Does it get any better than that?
Always a great course to play!!!!
Awesome as always. Fairways and greens are perfect. Addition of the pond on #2 is a nice touch, not fair, but a nice touch.
Great course with challenge on every hoie
Highly recommend playing for the layout and difficulty especially if it's windy.
Beautiful layout on Lake Fork
The course has always been good, now it is top notch
Played Sat 9/30 as a twosome. 4-somes were all friendly and let us pass at appropriate times. We played in 3 hours,
Loved everything about the course. I believe it is new ownership since the last time I was there 2 years ago...the new guys have made a really good course into one of the best. Greens were flawless. Fairways in great shape. Sand traps fluffy and maintained.
Not an easy course at all, and you'll use every club you have. It starts out with 2 to 3 holes where you can par them all, but quickly ramps it up as the holes start to wrap around the lake.
Lunch in the clubhouse was really good, too.
The only negative is it's a 2 hour drive to get there, but if were closer to DFW, it would be packed every day, so I'll put up with the drive.
PS...jalapeno sausage at the grill at the turn was excellent.
Challenging layout
Course was soggy wet from previous day's rain but very playable without any roll. Greens in perfect conditions as with all bunkers and fairways.
GPS was okay at best as they're installing new ones.
Needed GPS for some shots crossing hazards.
Will return...NO one on course during mid-day on a Friday.
