The Links at Land's End
About
Although the Links at Land's End has a location that is seemingly remote, many golfers have deemed it worthy of the trek to Yantis. The challenging round is coupled with a scenic and secluded location along the banks of Lake Fork. You won't see much water on the early holes, which play among mature trees, but it has a prominent presence on the golf course starting with the fourth hole. It's a layout that demands accuracy with tall grass and trees lining the holes in addition to the water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The stretch of holes from the sixth through the 12th is situated right on the lake, making you feel almost as though you're playing on an island. They offer the best views on the golf course. The Links at Land's End is a challenging but fair round that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Always great, beautiful course on a peninsula with lake views
Course in great shape, played late in the day so she gave me a voucher for 9 holes which I didn't expect, sunset on the lake was great. On a Sunday and not busy felt like I had the whole course to myself. Great course, great staff, new carts, great price. Does it get any better than that?
Always a great course to play!!!!
Awesome as always. Fairways and greens are perfect. Addition of the pond on #2 is a nice touch, not fair, but a nice touch.
Great course with challenge on every hoie
Highly recommend playing for the layout and difficulty especially if it's windy.
Beautiful layout on Lake Fork
The course has always been good, now it is top notch
Played Sat 9/30 as a twosome. 4-somes were all friendly and let us pass at appropriate times. We played in 3 hours,
Loved everything about the course. I believe it is new ownership since the last time I was there 2 years ago...the new guys have made a really good course into one of the best. Greens were flawless. Fairways in great shape. Sand traps fluffy and maintained.
Not an easy course at all, and you'll use every club you have. It starts out with 2 to 3 holes where you can par them all, but quickly ramps it up as the holes start to wrap around the lake.
Lunch in the clubhouse was really good, too.
The only negative is it's a 2 hour drive to get there, but if were closer to DFW, it would be packed every day, so I'll put up with the drive.
PS...jalapeno sausage at the grill at the turn was excellent.
Challenging layout
Course was soggy wet from previous day's rain but very playable without any roll. Greens in perfect conditions as with all bunkers and fairways.
GPS was okay at best as they're installing new ones.
Needed GPS for some shots crossing hazards.
Will return...NO one on course during mid-day on a Friday.
Best course in east Texas
Course was in great shape, greens consistent, fairways good. Raining when we got there so we went in and had breakfast. Food was good and quick, staff was great. The course is laid out on a peninsula so many holes are lakeside. Most holes are laid out so you don't see other holes, nice layout. Had a great round.
Excellent course
Greens were the best ever, fairways in great shape
Links at Lands Inn
Played this course many times over the years. The course is in excellent condition. The greens are better then I have ever seen them. Highly recommend playing this course.
Great Course
Course is in great shape, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Cart girl makes continuous rounds which is great, but had no option for a sandwich or dog at 9 because the turn is NO where near the club house. Over all it's a great course.
Beautiful Course
This is my favorite public course in North Texas. Course was in great shape and challenging. I will be back. Side note I drove two hours to play.
The Links at Land's End - excellent
Among the best public courses in East Texas. It is a bit off the beaten path but well worth the drive. The 3 of us traveled from different cities, McKinney, Rockwall, and Longview. The course condition was excellent and the layout offered a very challenging round. The fairways were over-seeded and well maintained. The greens rolled true, offered multiple shape variations, and included some lake front peninsula locations. Miss the green on these holes and you will need another ball. Lake views on many holes. The golf course frontage houses are on large lots, are located a good distance back from the fairways and greens, and do not pose a distraction for the golfer. The carts are equipped with GPS course plotting and green views. The course staff were friendly and accommodating.
GREAT EXPERIENCE
HAD AN AWESOME TIME AT AN AWESOME COURSE WITH AMAZING VIEWS OF THE LAKE AND NATURE..THE ONLY THING I COULD SAY BAD ABOUT THIS PLACE IS IT NEEDS MORE SIGNS TO ACTUALLY FIND IT...
Fun little course in rural TX
Played here on Presidents Day Weekend. Came up with 9 other guys and we stayed two nights in their lodge using a stay and play voucher. I have to say that the value was great for what we got. The lodge was everything you could need and was comfortable. The course was also in great shape for the middle of Feb. Greens ran true and were a good speed. Fairways were also overseeded. The layout was a little on the short side but was definitely fun. The par 5's were reachable if you were playing the right tees. There was also an extra par 3 on the back which added some fun. The closing stretch was also a good challenge from 15-18. There was also a lot of variety with the holes and some short challenging par 4's right on the water bringing the wind into play (8 and 9). All in all, I enjoyed the course and would come back especially for the same stay and play deal. Staff was also accommodating for our group. The cart ladies were also very regular on our rounds making it easy to get drinks and food. Local tip, drive a few miles off the property and eat at Bro's Cajun.
Beautiful day at the Lake
The course is in great shape for the time of year and the amount of rain over that past few days. Took advantage of a Saturday when most of the members did not want to play cart path only. Staff is fantastic - Susan is always wonderful at the pro shop with a smile and information to help you enjoy the round.
Renovation of the restaurant and bar area is in progress and nearing completion. The plans they have for a large bar area will make this the place to go in the Lake Fork area.
Nice course priced to high
Enjoy playing here because there aren't a lot of courses nearby. This is in a rural area and a lot of fixed income persons. Lower prices mean more rounds.
