The Links at Land's End
About
Although the Links at Land's End has a location that is seemingly remote, many golfers have deemed it worthy of the trek to Yantis. The challenging round is coupled with a scenic and secluded location along the banks of Lake Fork. You won't see much water on the early holes, which play among mature trees, but it has a prominent presence on the golf course starting with the fourth hole. It's a layout that demands accuracy with tall grass and trees lining the holes in addition to the water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The stretch of holes from the sixth through the 12th is situated right on the lake, making you feel almost as though you're playing on an island. They offer the best views on the golf course. The Links at Land's End is a challenging but fair round that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

A nice relief from the heat
I want to start off by saying this is my first time in East Texas. The thought of being outside here in August is almost unbearable.
This course offers a welcome relief from that dank heat. The nice breezes off of the lake really help keep things comfortable.
Overall the course is challenging, but not overwhelming. The grass is soft and wet, but the ground underneath is hard and dry. It makes choosing your clubs carefully all more important.
Definitely a fun course for the money, and it's very pretty all around. I'll be coming back!
Links At lands end
Course was in good condition and the layout was fun but challenging.
Great design
Great design as many holes are directly on the lake. Could use more aiming items (bolders, tree rings, etc). Do have 150 poles in fairway. Greens were fairly brown the day I played but held well and putted okay. Roads to get to the place are fairly rough shape so take it slow. .
course is challenging but fair especially from the tips.
Overall the course is well managed and is challenging when playing from the tips. The par 3's are long but accessible with hybrids. Par 5's are long enough to decide if it should be played in two or three. Greens rolled true and must be played with extra break in mind. Overall course was well maintained, facilities is excellent and staff are very friendly. A great experience all around. Two thumbs up!
Excellent course
Played it for the first time recently. It was a great course. Good layout, great conditions, greens rolled great, and service was good. One of my best golfing experiences.
Off the beaten path!
It is a good drive to get to this gem but we'll worth it if you don't mind the driving distance! The course is tight in places, but is set up as a risk- reward layout on most holes. The food is great and the staff is courteous and helpful!
hard greens
Course was very dry and brown. There was trash all over the course. Grounds were not maintained well. The greens were hard and don't hold shots; very unreceptive. Good shots that hit pin high bounce flag high.
Awesome experience
I played on a Monday morning. There were 3 groups of 5 in front of me but they let me play through with no issues and were all very friendly locals. I played the round in under 3 hours and was on my way. GREAT layout for folks that enjoy a course where you don't have to hit driver off every tee. There were no really quirky or unfair holes, but no. 16 is a really difficult 2nd shot if the wind is blowing like it was the day I played.
Great day
Golf was stern but fair....the company excellent ....all in all a great day of golf
Gorgeous
Absolutely the BEST around. Hidden jewel. Great course. Love the wind element. Water water water. Do not be deceived by the 6680 yds. Plays much much longer. Excellent greens that are fast fast fast. Going back once a month; every month. Beautiful homes all around. If you dont have GPS you might not find it. There are no signs through farm land and asphalt roads. Need more signs. Only complaint.
Great course
Awesome course. Definitely worth the money. Drive is a little long, but worth it. There is no true "turn", but it's a beautiful course. Lots of water.
Beautiful Course
Great layout, perfect condition. Weather was phenomenal so that helps. :)
Wide open in excellent shape
Great course that I love to play. Challenging yet open enough for all levels
"East Texas Jewel"
This was the first time that I played Links at Lands End. It is really tucked away from everything not crowded and is like a private club.
The staff is professional and very friendly. The course was in winter dormant stage, but the greens were very fast and true ane well maintained. The fairways were in great shape too. Many of the holes were surrounded by the lake and had beautiful views.
I cannot wait to play here again in the summer. This is not a bombers course, you will have to think about your shots and put the ball in the right places to score well. Go to Links at Lands End and enjoy a great round of golf.
Very nice course with excellent water features
Very good course with great views of Lake Fork at almost every hole, but only few water hazards. Weather was pretty cold, so no pressure as for as crowds go. Well maintained fairways and bunkers. Greens average, fast since winter.
Only real problem was gps.
I like the fairways
I think the greens are really fast, maybe caused from lack of water. It added some scores to my game.
Tight yet fair
I liked the course although my wife hated it. She does not get to play often so it was very challenging for her. Fast greens and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
One of my fav's, long drive but worth it!!!
Great staff, very friendly
Jackie Cupit staff pro...awesome guy, great stories from the tour back in the day
Beautiful surroundings off a great fishing lake
Good course, but a bit of a drive
The course itself was very well maintained, but not pristine. The GPS provided in the cart was serviceable at best, and very difficult to understand. They really need to either have a how to user manual. We enjoyed ourselves, but the drive was pretty interminable. The course was difficult to find to say the least, and we drove from Tyler. Just be prepared for it. I would recommend this course, but the staff has a few opportunities to take it from a good course to a great course.
