The Links at Land's End
About
Although the Links at Land's End has a location that is seemingly remote, many golfers have deemed it worthy of the trek to Yantis. The challenging round is coupled with a scenic and secluded location along the banks of Lake Fork. You won't see much water on the early holes, which play among mature trees, but it has a prominent presence on the golf course starting with the fourth hole. It's a layout that demands accuracy with tall grass and trees lining the holes in addition to the water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The stretch of holes from the sixth through the 12th is situated right on the lake, making you feel almost as though you're playing on an island. They offer the best views on the golf course. The Links at Land's End is a challenging but fair round that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Awesome course on the lake.
Nice tree lined course that puts a premium on hitting the ball straight but not necessarily long.
Serene setting!
This course has it all including a lake surrounding it. The staff are friendly and courteous from the clubhouse to the restaurant and even the cart guys. One of my favorite golf venues!
The golf course has many good features!
Love the course, it is we'll maintain.and Laid out beautifully on a big lake. It has a nice practice putting green and we could hit all the practice ball wanted, in warming up.The proshop was extremely friendly and accommodating! My only negative was that the restaurant was closed on Monday, the day we were there.
The links is a very nice 18 hole golf course and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to play on a beautiful, but challenging course. Thank you golfnow.com! Ed
No Marshall on course
Without Marshall on course speed of play was horrible. Waited on every shot from the 2 nd Tbox to the last shot to the green on 18
what a find !!!!
Excellent course, challenging and difficult, but very fair. I will go back again, maybe a stay and play next time....
Enjoyable Course
The course has a great scenic view overlooking Lake Fork. Unfortunately the lake appears 8-10 feet low so there is nothing they can do about that. It is also a very well maintained course and some of the most beautiful, and fast, greens I have played in a long time. The only thing I did not personally like about the course was the thick grass. The course is not a long course, even from the blues. I assume to make it more challenging the grass is 3 inches high and it is very difficult to find a ball unless you are right on it. The course requires a lot of precision, and when you aren't in the fairway your ball can be very difficult to find. More importantly, it can be time consuming to have to look for balls in that kind of high grass and, to me, it slows the pace of the game. Other than that, there is nothing not to like about this course. The staff was so nice! The hamburger I was given as part of our package deal was honestly one of the best hamburgers I have ever had.
excellent course
Course is very difficult for player like myself. Course is in excellent condition and the practice faciltys are outstanding.
Very impressed with value of this package at such a outstanding course. Service was beyond great from all staff.
Nice course layout. Up to date equipment, Beautiful scenary and great clubhouse and resturaunt
This is an exceptional course in this area. I would recommend if your in the area and enjoy beautiful scenery and a great round of golf take time to stop in. The immensity's are nice and the club house has a great chef.
Hidden gem, in East Texas.
This course has an exciting layout, that does not disappoint.
Fairways, greens excellent condition. Can't wait to play here again.
Great course
The course was in great shape, the greens were excellent. The only downfall of the day was on hole 11 cart ran out of gas and had to wait 20 min. For fuel
What hidden gem
Well worth the drive. Staff was super friendly and course was maintained well. Greens were great and consistent. If you putt well you will love this place. Will DEFINATELY play here again. Only complaint is that you go straight from 9 to 10 without a break. Definitely recommend this place.
great course
GREAT COURSE, EVEN IF YOUR PLAYING BAD, NICE PEACEFULL COURSE, JUST A RELAXED FEEL TO THE COURSE. CHALLAGING ON SOME HOLES ,NOT EASY BUT NOT REAL HARD. COURSE IN GOOD SHAPE. WORTH THE MONEY AND WORTH THE DRIVE. .
The overall course was average. Would have expected to play something in little better condition for the money
Heard many things about the course and expected better course conditions for the money. Beverage and food pricing reasonable.
Great views/layout
The course was in great shape. We got it for $20 on a Saturday morning which is an unbelievable price compared to the normal $70 weekend rate. Fairways were nice and green, greens were a little hard, but were green and rolled smooth and fast. Coming out of winter, the course was in tip top shape; we played there in March and it is a lot better condition, not that it was bad. Not a long course, but there are some target golf holes you have to hit. I would definitely play there again.
Serene Waterfront Views
Holes 6 through 12 are what make this experience so pleasant - all run hard against the lakefront of Lake Fork. It's almost like you're playing on an island in the middle of the lake. The holes are laid out well - a couple of doglegs create interest and a couple of short par 4's give the big hitters something to go for.
The rest of the course is comprised of rather uninteresting, benign holes - hit it into a generous driving area and hit it onto the green. Fairways were just a little thin this time of year - should be much better with warmer weather. Greens were very puttable and the ball rolled true.
Getting to "Lands End" took a little doing - I recommend calling once you get to Yantis. It's about 120 miles from the DFW airport. I enjoyed the day.
Great Course
Always a GREAT Time at this course. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to run into Jacky Cupit US Open Runner-up 1963. Julius Boros beat Jacky and Arnold Palmer in an 18 hole playoff. He is a Jewel of a man who is the Pro Emeritus at this fine East Texas course that has the best of both worlds. A Great Golf Course on a World Class Bass Fishing Lake. Worth the drive.
My favorite course in East Texas!
This is a really nice course! You have a view of Lake Fork on 15 or so of the holes, but it doesn't really come into play on several of them, so it's not overly difficult. (It's challenging but not brutal.) Staff is very friendly and if you're interested in a membership they are very reasonably priced.
this is a great course in great location- little out of the way!
Love this course, the layout is good and challenging, holes that are short and rewarding but quick to be in trouble. Just a bit off the beaten path and usually out of my price range, but today was an exception.. thanks
