The Links at Land's End
About
Although the Links at Land's End has a location that is seemingly remote, many golfers have deemed it worthy of the trek to Yantis. The challenging round is coupled with a scenic and secluded location along the banks of Lake Fork. You won't see much water on the early holes, which play among mature trees, but it has a prominent presence on the golf course starting with the fourth hole. It's a layout that demands accuracy with tall grass and trees lining the holes in addition to the water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The stretch of holes from the sixth through the 12th is situated right on the lake, making you feel almost as though you're playing on an island. They offer the best views on the golf course. The Links at Land's End is a challenging but fair round that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

great course
GREAT COURSE, EVEN IF YOUR PLAYING BAD, NICE PEACEFULL COURSE, JUST A RELAXED FEEL TO THE COURSE. CHALLAGING ON SOME HOLES ,NOT EASY BUT NOT REAL HARD. COURSE IN GOOD SHAPE. WORTH THE MONEY AND WORTH THE DRIVE. .
The overall course was average. Would have expected to play something in little better condition for the money
Heard many things about the course and expected better course conditions for the money. Beverage and food pricing reasonable.
Great views/layout
The course was in great shape. We got it for $20 on a Saturday morning which is an unbelievable price compared to the normal $70 weekend rate. Fairways were nice and green, greens were a little hard, but were green and rolled smooth and fast. Coming out of winter, the course was in tip top shape; we played there in March and it is a lot better condition, not that it was bad. Not a long course, but there are some target golf holes you have to hit. I would definitely play there again.
Serene Waterfront Views
Holes 6 through 12 are what make this experience so pleasant - all run hard against the lakefront of Lake Fork. It's almost like you're playing on an island in the middle of the lake. The holes are laid out well - a couple of doglegs create interest and a couple of short par 4's give the big hitters something to go for.
The rest of the course is comprised of rather uninteresting, benign holes - hit it into a generous driving area and hit it onto the green. Fairways were just a little thin this time of year - should be much better with warmer weather. Greens were very puttable and the ball rolled true.
Getting to "Lands End" took a little doing - I recommend calling once you get to Yantis. It's about 120 miles from the DFW airport. I enjoyed the day.
Great Course
Always a GREAT Time at this course. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to run into Jacky Cupit US Open Runner-up 1963. Julius Boros beat Jacky and Arnold Palmer in an 18 hole playoff. He is a Jewel of a man who is the Pro Emeritus at this fine East Texas course that has the best of both worlds. A Great Golf Course on a World Class Bass Fishing Lake. Worth the drive.
My favorite course in East Texas!
This is a really nice course! You have a view of Lake Fork on 15 or so of the holes, but it doesn't really come into play on several of them, so it's not overly difficult. (It's challenging but not brutal.) Staff is very friendly and if you're interested in a membership they are very reasonably priced.
this is a great course in great location- little out of the way!
Love this course, the layout is good and challenging, holes that are short and rewarding but quick to be in trouble. Just a bit off the beaten path and usually out of my price range, but today was an exception.. thanks
