Lost Pines Golf Club

Five hours and thirty minutes is how long it took to play a round of golf here. For the price they charge you would think they could afford to enforce pace of play or actually moderate tee times. They are also getting ready to remove two of the best holes on the course so they can expand the hotel here.

It was one of the most scenic golf courses I’ve ever played loved it , I’ve play courses in California and Florida all through Alabama but this Texas gem ranked as my favorite

Purse layout is great. But at $168 a round after tax, the course is not nearly in good enough condition for the money.

Challenging, that is for sure, but a fun course to play. The green were being aerated and very sandy which was a disappointment .

For the money, you would be happier with most muni’s. Greens are horribly dried out and fuzzy. Bunkers are super firm and filled with dime-sized pebbles. We absolutely wasted our money today.

I actually really like this course, BUT, it's so overpriced for what you get. the tee boxes are usually jacked up. the course itself is awesome. great layout and design. it's just not a $180 course, which is usually what you pay. the greens had be treated too and they gave me a discount (not much of one, i still payed $158). to pay $160 for a course with jacked up tee boxes and treated greens??? highway robbery. i'll be back, because i do like the course, but i've played top jack nicklaus designed courses without greens being treated and paid much less.

Wolfdancer is a great golf course it’s very challenging. It’s a great place to play a round of golf if you are in Austin Texas. Employees are very friendly, especially Julia who works at the pro shop, she is an excellent customer service person. She went out of her way to explain everything especially when I told her this was my first time playing at Wolfdancer, she made me feel at home.

Greens are absolutely horrendous right now. Punched last week, but there is damage far beyond the aeration. I would not play here until July, and that’s if they water A LOT.

Got the deal time for $80, but still not happy. It’s a $35 round at best right now. Better off on the munis!

Enjoyed playing the course in almost all aspects. Course is fair. Punishment for miss shots was fair. None of my good shots resulted in disappointment due to the poor maintenance. Staff members were nice and courteous. Checkin and getting a cart were easy and smooth. I would play this course more often if the price is a little lower. A disappointment was greens. Those were sandy and I was not informed before booking the tee time. Probably because of the green condition, it played very slow. I had to put with 1.4x strength of my normal put.
