About
Rowlett’s first course has been laid out over a flat range of pasture, supplemented by 15 acres of lakes and over 1,000 new trees. Designed to be hacker friendly, the lack of mature trees provide an especially generous look and feel, tempting the mid-level handicapper to tee it up from the 7,191 yard tips and go long off the tee. Bent greens are the highlight of the round here–they roll true and provide solid opportunities to snake in a few long putts.
Getting there : Off of I-30 exit Dalrock Rd. and drive north through Hwy. 66. A half-mile past 66 veer left on Princeton, which dead-ends at Liberty Grove. Turn right into the Waterview division and take Waterview Pkwy. to the clubhouse

Waterview has really great greens this season.
Played Waterview with a buddy this weekend, course was in great condition. Greens rolled very nice and the trees in the fairway have grown, making the fairways more challenging than I remember in the past.
Course was in good shape, but a very SLOW start.
When we reached the 3rd hole, there were already 3 groups waiting to tee. Marshal was non-existent, beverage cart did not appear until the 8th hole.
Nice course
This is the first time my foursome has played this course and we truly enjoy ourselves. The layout is superb and the greens are very appealing.
The greens here are usually pretty smooth. Better be able to hit your irons high to get the ball to stop on the elevated greens.
Short course but with windy conditions there is plenty of trouble lurking.
Great course, not too difficut, but has some challenges--especially the sand traps around the greens.
I enjoyed playing this course and will definately play it again. I was surprised at how well maintained the course was.
A nice course, in decent condition
A lot of the fairways on this course are really bumpy, getting a good lie is a role of the dice. I liked the greens, the coloring looking patchy but they role fairly well, semi-fast. We played in the heat of the day and not very many people were out there. The pace was pretty good, but we got behind a threesome at number 6 and then after that was very slow. After we told them to pick up the pace, they sped up slightly. The marshals patrolled fairly often, which I like to see. A good value is you can get a discounted price on Golfnow.
The course is very well maintained.
I played this course once before and it was in very good shape. When I recently played it I found the course to be in the same condition. I will certainly play it again. The fairways and greens were very well maintained. I really liked the wide open fairways.

We were surprised how quickly our threesome moved considering it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Well maintained and fun to play
Very fun course with a good layout. Fairways and bunkers are in good shape and greens are very well maintained. Would definitely recommend and will be playing again!

Fun course that is fairly open but also offers risk reward shots. This course is in my top 5 in the DFW metroplex
This is a nice course
I play an average of 10 rounds a month. Since my first time there it has been the course that I compare other courses to in the DFW area.
This course looks amazing.
The grass is maintained greatly and the greens are really nice.
Short Fairway Grass!
I always enjoy golf no matter where I play, but I believe that the fairways should have a little longer grass than the greens. This is a fine 18 hole flat course with a couple of great par 3's.
I have played Waterview a few times and i always enjoy myself there.
Waterview is a good test for all golf levels with several sets of tees to choose from. The course is well maintained, the staff is friendly, and the price is right for an enjoyable round of golf.
Poor Marshalling - almost 6 hour round of golf :-(
In my opinion they overbooked the course. We were waiting 1-2 groups behind on almost every hole. Course was nice. Staff was nice. However the Marshalls basically did nothing except ask up to merge with the group ahead of us to make a fivesome! And we were still backed up. The group behind us left on #16. I guess they had dinner plans.
Needless to say, I won't be back.
Beautiful, windy day on the course
I played this course as a single a was paired up with a twosome. We had to wait on every shot, but I was in no rush so it didn't bother me too much. Some groups behind didn't like waiting and we let them play with us to make a group of five. The greens were not in the best shape with two different types of grass on them, but they were really fast and hard to read. It's early in the season and I had a good idea of what the course would look like. This place will look great in a month. The facilities are nice, the staff was fantastic. They were overbooked for my liking, but it was such a nice day that I can't blame everyone for wanting to play golf. One more thing, there needs to be more areas on this course to use the restroom.
This coures is in good shape for early spring
The value is great here, esp. Mondays. The coures is well cared for and I look forward to playing it this year.
Great bent grass greens and outstanding value!
We play here quite often and it is always a great experience. The staff is very friendly and for the price, you can't be the bentgrass greens.
