About
Rowlett’s first course has been laid out over a flat range of pasture, supplemented by 15 acres of lakes and over 1,000 new trees. Designed to be hacker friendly, the lack of mature trees provide an especially generous look and feel, tempting the mid-level handicapper to tee it up from the 7,191 yard tips and go long off the tee. Bent greens are the highlight of the round here–they roll true and provide solid opportunities to snake in a few long putts.
Getting there : Off of I-30 exit Dalrock Rd. and drive north through Hwy. 66. A half-mile past 66 veer left on Princeton, which dead-ends at Liberty Grove. Turn right into the Waterview division and take Waterview Pkwy. to the clubhouse

I had a pleasant round at Waterview
I found the course a bit challenging. The great part of my round was the condition of the fairways. My drives carried a bit further than some courses I've played!
GOOD GOLF, PLAYS LONG
HAD BEEN AT LEAST 6 YEARS SINCE I PLAYED THIS COURSE, WAS GOOD THEN , BETTER NOW.

Personally feel like there is more sand on course than needed.
Water is about right. Great carts.
The course has excellent grass!
Great grass, friendly staff, but a little over priced.
Fair course with bent grass greens that are normally very good.
It is a fairly easy driving course due to not having many mature trees. The bermuda rough is not that high, but can get severe when the ball sinks to the bottom. It is a good value for the money and the pace of play is normally very good. The carts are very well maintained and they have a great practice putting green.
Greens need work
Ball marks all over the green so putts do not fall often. Greens are usually slow. Rest of course in great condition. Guy I paired up with caught a fish on 16th hole.
