Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Okay Executive Course
For an executive course, the layout was fine with lots of par 3s and a few 4s. Fairways were OK, and the greens were in good shape, but extremely tiny. The starter was very friendly and so were the cart guys. There is no on-site restaurant or pub, so the only food you can get are crackers, candy bars, and pop in the pro shop. The gentleman in the pro shop was nice and let me sit there as I waited for my ride after the round. We both watched The Players together and chatted a bit. The carts were in good shape and ran well. The gentlemen I was paired with were pleasant, making for an enjoyable day.
Nice short course
This course only has par 3 and par 4 holes so it’s pretty short. It was in decent shape and we played 18 holes in about 3 hours

This is a fun little course that we have played a few times. Today was just brutally slow… we had to wait on practically every shot. I don’t like to be critical but it was way too slow. Perhaps they need a few more minutes between starting times.
It is good for my short game and the people are nice.

It was a fun little course. Employees were great . The greens need to be rolled is the only complaint we had. Thank you all. We will be back.

Florida Spring Training
Typical Florida executive course. Good course to spend a casual afternoon. Use this time of year as my “spring training “ to swing a club and work on the short game. Staff was very friendly.
