Lakewood Country Club
About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Neat executive course
Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were quick, fairways were green. Played it several times in February.
Not a real golf course.
Par 60. Postage stamp greens.
Not real golf. Basically a par 3 course.
was so slow on sunday we left after playing 9 only
Beginner course
The course is a mostly par 3 course but really pretty with a lot of cute wild life. The people running the place were so kind. If you’re looking for a beautiful beginner course with amazing staff and have plenty of time to enjoy the round, this course is perfect.
Do Not Book A Tee Time!
This should not be a 4 or 5 star course - I would be generous with a 1- star. This is not a full course, just 3- and 4-par holes. It is a public course and not a country club. The practice tee and chipping area are unlabeled - had to ask 3 or 4 golfers before finding it. Pace of play was worst I’ve experienced. The foursome ahead of us took 15 to 20 min per hole and no one asked them to pick up. The golfers behind us quit after 2 holes because of the slow pace. The pro shop is incredibly barren and dumpy. The staff tried, but we would suggest that Golf Now stop pretending this is a golf course. I would be embarrassed to say I played there.
Fair play
Priced well for a course which is this well maintained. Had a great time with good friends. We will return. Cheers.
GolfNow Ripoff
Nice course, but you cannot sell 18 holes at 3:57 pm and then have the maintenance staff cut you off after 9 to tell you the course is closed! Total BS. The sun had not even set at 5:45 when we made the turn!!
Terrible course
Overall horrible course and conditions. We struggled to find a blade of grass.
