Greens recently aerated and sanded
Played this course because it was a little less expensive than surrounding courses and golfnow had a tee time that worked for us. Tee boxes were being marked out with paint to be cut I assume, because they were a bit long. Fairways were very dry and brown in most places until you got close to the greens. Greens were aerated in the past week or so it appeared and there was no mention of this on golf now or from the pro shop upon arrival; I would have gone someplace else if I had known this. Overall we had an enjoyable day, but I'll wait until the greens grow in and some rain helps out the fairways before returning.

Fun round
Arrived at the course and checked in at the pro shop. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Started off my round early in the morning and immediately noticed on the first hole how nice the tee boxes and fairways were and once on the green noticed how nice the greens were, rolled nice and no ball marks or dead spots. Greens were slow throughout the round and I believe they could be cut.
The course isn’t long, from the tips, but gives you a challenging round, especially on par 3’s at least for me. I gave an overall rating of 4, only because of the green speeds. Everything else about the course I had no complaints, in fact I went into the pro shop at the end of my round and told them how nice their course maintained. I will definitely come back and play this course and I recommend you play it as well it was worth the drive from Sanford.

Good par 3's
Don't let the yardage fool you. The Par 3's are a real challenge from the blue tees. Greens very very slow we found. Felt like they were stimping about 7. Somewhat of a unique layout. Very short Par 4's and 5'd with long Par 3's. A good test for a 15 HCP

Hidden Lakes is not a long course however it does have some challenging holes that will keep you coming back to this gem of a course. The greens and fairways have always been in great shape and the staff have always friendly since I have been playing there in the past 10 years and to boot there has been many upgrades to the course and amenities since the new owner has taken over.Try it out I think you'll like it!

One of my favorite courses
great pace, no waiting, weather overcast but 75 degrees, perfect weather wife and I had great day and didn't golf bad either.

Slow greens
Course plays longer than the 5500 yards from the blues as the par 3''s have some good length to them. Had an enjoyable time but did find the greens to be very full and SLOW.

Short but worthy
Great condition for early March. Greens very good condo. Six par threes make overall distance short by worthy
Number 14 is challenging T shot over lake. Also a very beautiful hole.
