This course was really nice.
I was surprised at how many hills there were on the a Eagle course. The course was in great shape overall with just a few spots of crabgrass. The greens were quick, but rolled true. They were tricky to read. When I return to the Destin area I will definitely try out the Falcon course. You can't beat the price.

This course was a great value. It was scenic, in good shape, friendly staff and fun to play.
Easy Day for the Average Golfer
Wide open golf course. If you can hit it reasonably straight your short game will score. Green in good shape. Fairways were nicely mowed and plush. A couple of long par 3's and par 4's.

Jumped to top 3 courses in my books. Really enjoyed my day. Friendly people, course was in great shape. Need to learn greens better ;)
On the up and coming
The eagle was recently air rated but was still in great shape. I'd honestly say in two weeks both the falcon and eagle will be the place to play! Both courses are fun and challenging. I'm a mid 80s, 90 handicap and I can't wait to go back. By far the best courses for your money!
well kept course
Check in was easy and staff were very good. Greens and fairways were awesome and challenging. The views were awesome. Fun course to play ! Only problems were the facility seemed to be over booked. Course play was extremely slow. Also..... coolers should be allowed because cool water was unavailable.. All in all...... fun course.

Best Value In Destin Area
A surprising gem in Pensacola/Destin. This hilly course surprises you with blind shots, water and trees, but is very playable. It is early spring and yet the greens and fairways are in good condition. For a very reasonable price, this is the best deal around. Go Play.
Hilly
very unusual for this area of north florida. The course is very hilly and it is necessary to play the fairways to the high sides very mush like what I grew up on
Great round for the price
It's a very nice course, with a few quirky holes. Not 'bad' holes, just situations where a yardage book (or a GPS with a good God's Eye view) would have come in very handy. The greens rolled true, the tees and fairways were in fine shape. The rough was sparse, but given the finite budget of a military golf course I don't expect perfection. Friendly staff, reasonably priced Power Ade and bottled beer after the round. I wouldn't hesitate to play it again, or to recommend it to my golf buddies.
Hills in Florida!
Eglin's golf course was a complete surprise. There were rolling hills (some fairly steep), that made me glad I was riding! This was a shock since most courses around this part of Florida are somewhat flat. We will go back.

Very challenging course. Worn out afterwards. With 3 others pace was fast enough.
