Lake Diamond Golf & Country Club

I'm new to golf so not a lot of courses to compare this to...but I love this coarse, I find it great value and the condition of the fairways and greens is always improving. Really enjoy this location and play it often

The tee could use some work but the greens were in good shape and fast, weather was not so good but only had a little rain. had a great day will play again.

Course needs a lot of work. Front nine greens in terrible shape. Back nine better than front. We played course 5 years ago and nothing has changed. Owner must put money into the fairways, greens and tees. We like the layout and that is why we came back but was once again disappointed. Won't be back even though VERY tempting given the groupon price of $12 for eighteen with cart! By the way, the pace of play was excellent because there was no one there.

The greens were in nice shape----except the first 9 they had a lot of water on them which made putting difficult. Once they dried some, they putted OK.
Other than that, everything was OK.

Love the layout.
The greens are in good condition and getting better.
Fairways are starting to get some grass on them.

I love Lake Diamond. I have played it 5-6 times now. I live in The Villages and Lake Diamond reminds me of the courses I played up north before I moved here.

I don't know how you keep the greens so nice with as much play as you get.

The course was available for play at bargain prices and so I did not expect much from the course. The course was surprisingly in good shape and greens were excellent. Tough little course with variety of lies in the fairway. Some of the fairway and rough needed maintenance but at the prices one can't complain.

This coarse seems to always have nice greens. But fairways, traps, and rough are garbage. The coarse is very tight and there are lots of woods everywhere. You can easily loose a dozen golf balls out here.

The greens were excellent. I little on the slow side but in very good condition. The rest of the course needs a little work. Grass needs to be cut, cup positions changed, cart paths improved and overall care. On some tees the grass was so high I had to take a few practice swings before I teed up my ball. I would play it again in hopes that they would better condition the course.

A very challenging course in very good shape. There are lots of trees, so be prepared to lose some balls if you slice or hook. There are blind dog-legs on some holes and water to avoid and valleys to hit out of, and so if your game is really off that day, be prepared for aggravation. But with all of that, the course is in good shape, the fairways are maintained and the greens are in good shape. We had a good time trying to finesse our way through this course. I definitely want to challenge this course again.

Golf course coming back from 5 years previous. Use to be one of most difficult in area with fast greens. Some of the challenges have been eliminated but still a challenging course. More maintenance of course could be used. Come along way back from couple of years ago.

I have played on Lake Diamond for the past 15 years!
The greens are in excellent shape, probably the best in Marion County and I have played on most of the golf courses here in the Ocala area.

The course set-up was very good. the greens are in excellent shape; better then the previous courses I've played this year. Cart paths and fairways are a little rough but nothing terrible. The best course for the money I've ever played.
