Lake Diamond Golf & Country Club

Had a lot of fun. Very challenging if you don't hit in fairway everytime then bring a bunch of extra balls you will lose a lot in over over grown rough or in water. Wildlife was awesome saw 6 deer right there on course rode close to them and took pics and they just stood there eating like we weren't even there. Definitely will be going back after I stock back up on extra balls.

This course is an eye sore. It's a shame too because it could be a really good looking course. This first 5 holes or so were mowed, but the rest of the holes looked like they haven't been mowed for weeks. Last time I was there they were mowing with a push mower. Group infront of me lost a ball in the FAIRWAY.Dont get me started on the "sand traps". I realize you need business to afford good maintenance, but the maintenance is so bad its no wonder nobody is ever there. Catch 22

It is a good course the rough needs to be mowed other than that it is pretty good for an amateur like me

The course conditions aren't outstanding but for the money you pay it is worth it. For the price, I play here as much as possible.

Love playing this course. I play it once every to weeks. Greens are great and course is well taken can of.

Course needs a lot of work , fairways rough, greens getting some bad spots.

this course is good if you need a lot of practice to become competitive with your friends for the price you can't beat it

I'm just a beginner so haven't been to many courses but I will say that I absolutely love the layout of this course . It's a bit challenging and scenery is very nice. The wife likes to just ride in the cart while I play !! And she by no means is a fan of golf! The greens and fairways need work but over all it's a fun course and moderately paced!

Fairways were extremely wide and in decent condition. The front 9 is definitely in need of repair, the greens and fairways are in rough condition. The back 9 is the way the front nine should be. Until the turn, we were the only 4 players on the course.

Love playing here despite the greens being in rough shape. Love the layout. Including the gator on the 11th hole fairway.

Lake Diamond has several holes which bring into play course management and some appeared to be great drives can be in trouble if not placed strategically. The all in all condition was good considering dry conditions as of late but I imagine it will be filled with greenery as the wet season has arrived...

Staff was friendly as well and very informative...

The highlight of the day was on a par 3 on the front side when I encountered a wise & friendly Fox Squirrel...I was saddened not to have any food on board but noticed when I was putting this aged critter was making himself at home atop the golf cart...Somewhat startled I approached hesitantly thinking He was still on the cart...But Rocky (I named him) was approaching on feet to get a treat and came all the way up to my feet...Not only are the staff friendly so is the local wildlife...I'll certainly be back soon for I had a wonderful experience...!

Rough was a little too high for my liking but overall the course maintenance has improved considerly over the past couple of months.

i would not go back and play this course for quite a while. greens were not in good shape. a lot of dry spots on greens and fairways were very not good. thin lies in fairway.

Got a super cheap price and was excited to check out the course. It was in terrible condition( grass was all overgrown, greens were all ripped up, and sand traps needed work). Still worth the $9. However, being harassed by the owner makes me not want to ever go back. I was on the 2nd tee box about to hit when this guy drives his cart into the middle of the fairway, stops, and then waves for me to hit. Not being a pro, I was flustered and shanked 2 balls into the woods. This guy drives up with a rifle in his cart and says you can't be hitting 5 balls every time you hit, you need to drop your ball in the fairway and keep moving, there's people behind you.. etc. Like that wasn't enough to throw me off my game, this guy followed us around for the next 5 holes, driving his cart through the woods making sure we didn't slow up the line.

on the 2nd hole the owner of the course sat in his cart from across the fairway and watched me hit 2 balls into the woods off the tee. When I went to hit a third he drove strait thru the fairway directly at me and proceeded to yell at me for hitting too many balls and that I was slowing everyone else's game down. (The course was dead and there was a single golfer behind me which the owner wouldn't let play thru). Then for the rest of the front 9 he just followed us watching from in the woods.
NEVER in my life have I been treated or disrespected so bad on a golf course by a course owner no less. I would never go back nor would I recommend this course to anyone.

The course needs work but what a layout. Front nine in the forest and back nine in the community but homes are well off the course. Many greens have bare and crusty patches. Bunkers could use work and players who rake when they play.

We will go back and play again.

Given that the winter rye is gone expected the fairways to be worse than the were. Some of the greens had some rather large crusty areas and we were surprised that there wasn't more being done to fix.

All in all given what we paid for the 2 of us we will be going back.

The greens need to improve, other than that everything was great
