Lake Diamond Golf & Country Club

I believe this course to be a pretty average course. It has more obstacles than most which make it more challenging. It's fairly clean at this time even with all the leaves falling. I'll keep playing this course and invite friends also.

Very friendly staff, fairways need some work, greens good, pace of play 3 1/2 hours., need to be able to work the ball with a 3 wood from the green tees, will play this course again

Great job by the maintenance crew. The fairways are in good shape; much work has been done on them lately. The greens are in super shape and are fast. A great day at affordable prices. I will definitely return.

This course is in excellent condition. The greens (I was told) were built to PGA standards. Challenging even for single digit handicap golfers.

Nice course with many wide fairways. I think it would
satisfy all types of golfers with the various tee boxes.
Fun course to play, you can't always just pull out the driver and smash it. Greens are in good shape and aren't always easy to read.

Greens were much better than the last time we played here a year ago. Carts now have windshields. For the price paid we were very happy and had a good day.

1:00pm tee time w/ wife for $12.84/ea thru Golfnow Hot Deal. Similar to Marion Oaks Country Club & the Preserve @ Turnbull Bay. Front 9 is wide & tree lined w/o houses or bodies of water. Back 9 by houses w/ few bodies of water. Except for the Par 3's, I believe every hole has a dogleg, which make it fun. Tee boxes in fair shape. Some fairways were plush enough, some thin. Rough are low so errant ball can be spotted quickly. Greens are elevated, couple of large ones. Rolling medium paced & true. Not much of a club house, functional. Gas powered carts w/ windshield but no rain cover in back. Cool wildlife, saw a few monkey squirrels & couple of hawks. Will be back to play again.

This course has potential to be a nice one in the future if more work could be done in the fairways (differentiating the rough from main fairways). Addition of proper cart path. The greens has improved compared two years ago. Pro-shop people are polite and courteous.

We had read the reviews on this course and were a little reluctant to go there , but we went and played it. I can assure you we were not disappointed, very good value for your money, the staff we awesome and very helpful. we are going back again.

Old course that needs infusion of $$ especially for play in January. Tough layout unless you can hit a straight ball.

This course is among the greater courses in Ocala.
Most players with a 10 or lower handicap, teeing off from the white tees will find it difficult to break 80.
I have been a ranger on this course for a few years, played it for over 20 years and each time I go out it is a challenge.
Green fees this summer after 1pm is $10.60 for 18 holes!
That price includes a cart. I give this course a FOUR star rating.

I liked to play here. Probably not for the better golfer but good for those who just need to get out and play different places.

Great deal through golf now, the fairways were pretty good but this is the dry season so I'll bet they are excellent spring summer and fall. The greens were excellent but a bit slow - compared to rock hard, lightning fast greens in Michigan. The pin placement was challenging. The length of the course was great. the par 5s were long and difficult for me as a woman even though the women's t's were located well. I missed the sign for the 10th tee and ended up in the sticks -- had to turn around and go back to the clubhouse to find it... must be my blonde roots? This is an excellent course, we had a great time, the staff was fantastic... other players courteous and friendly. I would recommend this course to players with a couple years of experience golfing.

Not the best of condition, but they are putting some effort in to the over seeding...Will try again next week..

One of the best courses for the money. Great prices, just as good of a course as it neighbor, with better greens and friendlier staff.

This course will be in great shape soon. The greens are over seeded, so a little slow..but will be fast soon and are the counties most sloped. The fairways had a few rough spots, but certainly playable.
For the price..well worth playing.

My only complaint would be the price I paid at arrival was not what I was told by golf now, instead of 8 dollars per person it was 15. I think you should make the connection better between the course and your service

The greens were well maintained. the fairways were green without any sandy areas. Their was evidence of work having been done recently with some areas of new grass. Their was some evidence of coarse grass invasion but they seemed to be working on that.

They are working to bring up the standard. Greens on 2nd nine where pretty good. Great value.
