Lake Diamond Golf & Country Club

What do you want for $6? It's been several years since I last played this course and I wanted to see what condition it was in; and you can't hit a bucket of balls for this price.
The staff was friendly; the course needs maintenance. The greens were in good shape but the fairways & tee boxes need help. The condition of the fairway requires you to move your ball away from a clump of weeds. But if you are looking for a cheap round of golf; give it a try.

The fairways do need some work but the greens were coming in nice with the winter grass. Worth the price.

Although this course is set in a "natural" setting, and very beautiful, major maintenance.is required throughout the course.

Fairway? That's a fairway? Unplayable. Quit after 9 because I couldn't stand to be out there anymore. The only reason to strike a ball on the last 5 holes of the front 9 was because it was on the way to to return the cart. NEVER play here again, even if it was free. Not worth the gas to get there. Worst "course" I've ever been on.

Played this course with two friends. A great deal from golfnow.com and a thoroughly enjoyable round. The greens are great on most holes - just a few bare patches which are being treated.

For $7.00 works for me but course is in repair in places and greens very rough

My understanding is that the course has changed ownership and will have some major work done.

have seen cow pastures that looked better, not worth the time or trip tp get there,, lose it from your course choices

This course was in better shape when I played it in the past. But course conditions change at times due to the season. There are some elevation changes on certain holes and some nice water features. I like this rather than a flat terrain.

MANAGEMENT WAS VERY GOOD TO US , WE HAD ANICE VISIT WITH THE PRO GOLF TEACHER.

The fairways are terrible - weeds and/or crabgrass are extensive. You should remove this course from your list. We played this course several years ago and it was in reasonable condition then.To call this a golf course is a stretch.

this course is in average condition. rough is not maintain at all.if you hit in the rough your ball is problemly lost. I like the course some nice holes.the was great deal.

I enjoyed the course. The fairways needed mowing and the cart would not always start the bag straps would come loose. The greens were very nice and true. maybe they were having equipment issues. I would play it again.

They are improving the course every time I play. Green are in great shape and the fairways are very good.

Good course for the money - has some challenging holes. Some of the greens need a bit of work and fairways are not bad considering the winter frost here.

Played this course not expecting much and that is what I got. Very little grass anywhere on the course so it must be played with lift clean and place or you will be hitting off bare ground all day. Greens weren't horrible but I've seen much better. They too were relatively sparse on grass as I don't think the overseed was done very well. Played with a guy who told me how much it has improved in the last couple of years and I can only think it must have been terrible at some point. Still it is an okay course to go work on some aspects of your game, just don't expect real good conditions. I will give it another chance in the summer to see if the Bermuda is thicker during the growing season than the winter.
