Green very firm had to hold wedge shots into the green ball would run across the green in most cases

This course remains in good condition. The greens were a bit hard and tough to hold the ball.. But the grass on the greens was very good, they rolled well. Very nice sand bunkers. We enjoyed our round.

Played the course twice last week. Monday played with long hitters off the blues. Shot a tough earned 90. Friday played off the whites. Much more forgiving, Shot 84. Course plays a bit longer than listed due to long uphill holes and some fairly long par threes.

We like that the course has good grass cover in the fairways which many courses at this time of the year don't have. The greens roll great but being new are a bit hard when landing the ball on them. Overall, good value and worth a visit.

The greens were very good but the fairways could do with some water as they were a little bare in places. Enjoyed the round of golf but was frustrated over the first 9 holes by very slow play. Did not see any marshals around to move players on a little. Having to wait for every shot on all these holes is not a good thing and spoils the enjoyment.

Moderately challenging from the white tees, and decent pace of play mid-week. Great discount thru GolfNow, so a nice bargain for cart and 18 holes. Paucity of rain recently didn't make for the best course conditions, but nothing to truly complain about.

Course is in good condition tee to green. The rough on some of the holes was poor but generally about average for most courses in the area. Greens were very nice.

11:22 tee time w/ wife for $18.95/ea thru Golfnow. Nicest Municipal Course I've ever played. Biily Casper Golf Mgmt is doing a great job w/ this course. Fun & challenging layout. Has elevation changes. Tee boxes in good condition. Fairways w/ wide tee shot landing areas & fairly plush. Fair sized elevated greens rolling fairly fast & true. Informed greens were redone a couple of years back & are in great shape. City of Winter Haven should learn from this course & apply to Willowbrook GC, also run by Billy Casper Golf Mgmt. Gas powered carts w/ windshield but no rain cover in back. Will definitely return again.

There tees fairways and Greens all were well grassed in awesome condition......so many place have no grass on fairways and greens this time of year....what an awesome day.............

The overall conditions were good, the staff was very nice. The Fairways could use a little more grass(over seed,) and more water. The greens were very good and the layout has some elevation and water hazards.

The course differs in that it has five par five's and five par three's. Although we did not eat their this time, it does have a nice restaurant, good hamburgers. It also has a nice pro shop. Did I mention, the price was right ($26) using Golfnow.com

Certainly one of the best public courses we have played in Florida. Challenging but fair. Fast greens. Course layout very attractive and pleasant.

Forgiving fairways. A freeze the week before we played left the grass very dormant.

Wanted to try out the new greens, this was the first time I have played the course since they had been done. Greens and bunkers are very nice, still a little firm but definitely not rock hard or unfair and the bunkers are beautiful. Fairways are descent for this time of year - way to many leaves on the ground though making it hard to find a ball even on the fairway.

The issue is pace of play - 2 hours 55 minutes on the front 9 ........... absolutely unbearable watching the carnage in front of us. You don't have to be a good golfer to play in a reasonable amount of time and if you are a good golfer you're not a tour player if you are playing this course. Play ready golf! Learn to drop off a player so they can hit while you drive to your ball and get ready. Don't wait for a green to clear if you are 230 yards out but only drive your ball 180 yards off the tee. Look for your ball for 5 minutes, not 12. Park your carts to the side of the green - not the FRONT so we have to wait for you to walk back and get out of the way.

Rangers would obviously help but that's not going to happen so if you are a good golfer looking for a challenging course without a 10 minute wait between shots I would advise playing somewhere else.

Courses very dry greens are hard hard you cannot fly your ball to the green and expected to stay. Doesn't look like the courses been watered at any time. Fairways wide, rough not very deep, bunkers have good sand. Greens and bunkers have been rebuilt last year. I can't wait for this summer to have water on the greens and fairways.

Course getting ready for a tourney aand the greens were great for this time of year

The sand traps and the greens were renovated last year. It has made a nice improvement to this course. Loose white sand in the traps. The greens were in good shape although they did not hold approach shots well, at all, a bit hard. The staffers friendly. We had a good time.

A very nice course at a good value. Always enjoy playing there. Pace of play was a little slow this time on the front 9.

The only bad thing I have to say today is that it was extremely slow.......6 hours to play 18 holes because of 2 or 3 groups of 4 in front of us who didn't know when to "pick up" or play "ready golf". Never saw any marshalls out to monitor slow play......other than that I'd play again but early in the day

We thoroughly enjoyed this course. No quirky holes. It was fairly straightforward golf.
