Keep it in the fairway
Fairways not to wide ,keep it straight.
The greens are in good shape, could be faster
first time and worth the trip
Found this course on golf now and it looked interesting. Had never heard of it. Very pretty course, challenging enough so that you need to make some shots to score well. If you like natural looking courses this one is certainly that. It is not a typical Florida Palm tree course, it is more everglades than resort. Will go back
Nature at its best.
Great Public Course to play with reasonable prices.
Look forward to another day of 18 Holes.
My Home Course
I've played the course over 50 times this year, so I guess that tells you something about the course, the playing partners I've been paired with, and most of all the staff. It has been a year since the course was renovated and is in excellent condition. On quite a few holes, shot making plays more of a role than the length of your tee shot. Depending on pin placements, at least six holes can easily become three putt greens if your approach shot comes to rest in the wrong quadrant of the green. All in all, the course is enjoyable to play and is a fair challenge for most players.
BEST GREENS IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA
My friend and I played 18 holes today at Palm Beach GardensMunicipal Course. We were hooked up with another very pleasant twosome. This was a challenging course from the white tees. The tee boxes were level, the fairways were in excellent shape, and the greens were the best that we have seen in a long time. All the money invested in improving this course was well worth it. I was very impressed with all the changes - for the better. The weather couldn't have been more pleasant - sunny and in the upper 70s. All the staff, from the check-in personnel to the bag boys to the starter to the ranger were all accommodating and very pleasant. We finished playing the 18 holes in under four hours. Definitely try this course if you have the opportunity and good fortune to be in the area!
Curtains
It was nice wasn't too busy out there maybe because the price was a little too high for that course
Good course but very slow
There definitely needs to be a ranger to speed up play. Luckily, the first foursome let us play through. My buddy and I caught up with another threesome that took another golfer on at the 16th hole. He just got off the 18th. This foursome turned out to be slow, inconsiderate, and could care less about etiquette or pace of play. That left us with a poor taste for this course. Also, the fees are quite expensive already.
Fun course to Play. great course without being too long
Good greens but a little too firm. course and staff were well above average,
Don't mind the fresh air
While I am eternally frustrated by my sheer amount of strokes this course removes the stress every time. The staff are always friendly and quick with a hello or conversation. The wildlife seems to not mind the endless photos and normally leave ones golf ball where it lies. The pace of play is normally on par but can run behind due to the players we all seem to play behind. I found the food tasty sometimes and overpriced the next depending on my tastes. I would recommend this course as one of my top 5 in Palm beach county. My only negative endorsement would be how easy it is to loose track of the balls landing area should you leave the fairway. Plugged ball are common on this course. Have fun playing here, I always have and know I will.
Very Interesting
Played from the Blue tees & the course was fair but had its share of difficulty. The greens were fast 7& true Playing the course for the first time I would recommend playing with someone who has played here before since a few holes require some local knowledge even though carts have GPS. Very enjoyable experience..
Very nice overall
Staff was friendly and helpful...value was very good as coursr was in good shape ans not too busy. Course has some challenging holes and alot of water so must be fairly straight off the tee or be preparef to lose alot of balls. A very good experience.
Newly renovated.
Watched renovation on my daily commute home and was looking forward to playing. I had my chance this past weekend to see close up the changes that were made. Having played the course many times before I was familiar with all the subtleties of the original design. The foot print of the course is basically unchanged but what they did do on many of the holes was soft the edges (removed some scrub + re contour slopes and berms) making it more playable. The new turf, Celebration and Tifeagle have grown in nicely in spite of the wet summer we experienced. I thoroughly enjoyed the round and look forward to playing in the future.
Thank you for the kind words. The Staff at PBGGC has worked very hard to make the course a special place to play golf. Come back soon! Charlotte/Director
Great course!
Great course that is a lot of fun to play. Only issue is how soggy it gets - but unavoidable due to it's location. Greens are in great shape!!!
Palm Beach Gardens Golf Club
Excellent "local" course and facility with convenient parking, driving range, chipping area and putting green very close to pro-shop. Considering the amount of rain over the previous days and weeks, course was in very good condition. This day, it was cart path only, but condition of fairways were still above average. More importantly the greens were excellent. Course is challenging off the tees and most approach shots are to well guarded, elevated greens. Shot maker's golf course. If lived closer, would definitely play there more often.
Thank you for the great review! The course is in wonderful shape and we love to hear feedback from our customers. Come back soon! Charlotte/Director
Cart Path Only
My group was unable to play due to cart path only restrictions. We are older and my group could not due the long walks required for cart path only on this course.
Sorry to hear that! The rain this month has been challenging. The good news is that the renovations completed last fall have drastically improved the drainage. Give us another try! Charlotte/Director
Great Course
Really enjoyed playing this course. The staff is super friendly and the course layout is great. The course was very well maintained and I highly recommend this course.
Thank you for the wonderful comments! The staff at PBGGC work hard each day to make our course one of the best in Palm Beach County. Your comments will be shared with them so that they know their work maintaining the course is recognized. Come back soon! Charlotte/Director
Greens were in great shape
Overall better then expected for $15. Greens were in great shape. Course was very wet from rain so I'd like to play it again when drier.
Very nice
What a beautiful facility. I am a beginner and I had a lot of fun.
Love PBG G.C.!
Palm Beach Gardens was recently renovatted is is a quality, quirky, and just darn fun golf course to play. Lots of value for the money. Refreshing course thats built into a nature sanctuary so you only have a few holes with houses which is outside the norm for a typical Florida course. What make the place great is the staff friendliness, they make you feel at home. The GM Tim Ford is a class act.
PBG Muni Course
Great municiple course with long Carries and decent greens. The wildlife scenery is wonderful with alligators all over the course sunning. Be careful when retrieveing lost balls!!! Overall, 4/5 in my opinion and would reccomend it to friends.
Thank you for your comments. We strive to offer every golfer a wonderful experience; all input is taken seriously in order to continuously improve. The season is upon us and unfortunately, twosomes will often be slowed down by a course full of foursomes. Just as at any good course, please let staff know, either during play, or after so that we may address the situation and take action to make your golf experience better. We believe that we have one of the finest courses in the area and would like another chance to prove it. Please email me at cpresensky@pbgfl.com with your name and tee time so that we can arrange a complimentary round for the two of you. Thank you again for helping us get better! Charlotte/Director
