Great course
Great course for the money! Wide open and fun to play. Would definitely play it again
great place for golf.
Wrote a review weeks ago. Still like this course very much...very friendly and courteous staff....Charlotte and Eileen were great! Definitely will be going back.
Nice course, but-------
I like this course a lot, but there were some issues.
They have a children's " golf camp" and they take over any hole, at any time, without warning or consideration for their paying customers.
During our game there were three groups that jumped right in front of us to " practice" on the same hole as we were approaching the green.
It was disrupting to stop and wait. One of the groups told us that we could play through, like they were doing us a favor. .
The whole thing is handle poorly and unprofessionally.
Great course
Had a lot of fun playing this course. The layout forces accurate tee shots. Variety of hole designs including an interesting 13. Course condition was great even after heavy rain the night before. Would definitely play this course again.
Renovation a success
The course smelled a bit like a rodeo in places due to the fertilization from the renovation. However, I was impressed by the amount of work they have done. A vastly improved experience. The greens are hard to stick. I'm sure that will improve as they settle.
Great course!
This course was very nice. Very well taken care of and great fun to play. I played 36 holes my 1st day there and this course is a great value for the quality of the play. Plays better than many private courses in the area...
I liked this course
Many twists a turns. Greens were a little bumpy and difficult to read. Rented clubs .liked the nikes coverts. Nobody there played in 2: 45.
nice course
Course was in great shape, the greens are rock hard because they are new they haven't had a chance to grow in, but overall a lot of fun, kinda tough
nature type setting
great coarse in a nature preserve area much wild life a nice change from home laden coarses
This course had great features.
The course was an excellent shape. The greens were maintained nicely. The fairways good condition. Nice golf carts.
Bring plenty of balls Snakes and Gators
This is a great course that has recently been redone and is still maturing... tight with water on most holes... hit the ball in rough best to reload.... lots of gators, snakes and other critters....
Staff is friendly,, price is overpriced for regular play... a deal off season and twilight....
All and all if you're a decent golfer this ia a great layout that causes you to think... if you are a higher handicapper or beginner... go someplace else... front nine is easier... back nine is very tough... I enjoy the challenge but not everyday.
Today!
Course is in great shape. If your not in the fairway your in trouble!
Golf in a natural setting
Wonderful natural setting. Lots of water and wildlife. Fun course to play
Good course, picturesque, greens are in good shape
The course was in good shape, the greens were quick and playable. I enjoy the course because it gives you a little bit of everything. Very picturesque with the swamp land and wildlife. 16 is very interesting. We saw an alligator on fifth hole, alligator alley. I will play this course again if in the area. The multiple sets of tee boxes is very good. Played in 3/12 hours with a 12 tee time with a 4some. We would have been faster but got held up with group in front of us. Fun course.
Great Course for the Money
Course just redone. Great Value - stay away so I can continue to play in 3.5 hrs. Many difficult driving holes for amateurs as there is water to carry that is not easy to clear. Greens were surprising quick for a public course. You have to try this one!
Greens hard but great to putt
The make over was nothing more than cleaning the place up except for the greens. The greens are firm but well struck shot will hold. Great to putt. If I play there again, it will be for the greens.
A New Favorite Course
The length of this course was perfect for me. I could reach green in regulation from the white tees.
The were enough water and sand hazards, but they were not that intimidating or difficult to avoid.
The carts were electric, new and had GPS.
Even though I had to wait for most shots due to the groups ahead of me, I still finished in 3.5 hrs.
I loved the scenery here as well as the golf. The birds were spectacular and I saw three alligators too.
More people ought to play here. I played alone at 8 am!!
supprised
We have played here before the renovation. since the re-opening it is a vast improvement in the facility and course. will play again.
Too bad it rained!
We love this course and had a good round going until the 10th hike when the rain started pelting down. We "bailed" after the 15th hole when it was-obvious that the rain wasn't going to stop. Too bad as this was our last Florida game this season. However, Palm Beach Gardens GC is a wonderful course complete with the biggest alligator we have ever seen walking from the fifth hole to the water beside hole 6!
At PBGGC, we never want to disappoint our customers. Thank you for sharing your experience and we will alter how we handle camp. Growing the game of golf through younger players is important but not at the expense of those playing the course. If you contact me at cpresensky@pbgfl.com with the foursome name, date and time your players, I will be happy to issue you a rain check to come back.
