this course had friendly staff
The staff was friendly and the course was in fair to good condition I would definetly play it again!
very nice course nice lay out
Had a great time out with friends and the beer cart girl had everything
Really Fun course
nice layout and very well maintained for a muni. The greens are not super fast but weel maintained and true. Staff at starter booth and counter were both great...lots of wildlife to see on this course. Will definatley come again
good value and fun to play
PBG is a fun municipal course located nearby and readily accessible and tee times available
Great setting and good value
I have played this course off and on over the years. It is a very nice muni with a great natural south florida eco feel; gators, wetland, wading birds, etc. The course has enough water, tight spots and hazards to require your focus while not being over whelming. The course is maintained well and the greens are in good shape.
Not good at all
Way to high for shape of course tee boxes and fair ways need lots of work
Fast, undulated greens, and large bunkers.
I have never played on a course that the greens 1 -18 were so difficult. Very fast and undulated. One of the other players stated that the greens looked like burial plots. The layout of the course was reasonable except for some of the huge bunkers. The price was a little high for a non-resident but i would return, Very well maintained. i liked the fact that you could use your driver on most holes. I do have to get use to the course and grass because they are different from those in the Northeast.
Practice makes perfect
A couple of tight dog legs make this course somewhat difficult but leaves you with numerous holes to make up shots. Play conservatively on hole 15 and you should have a good round. Great practice course with decent greens.
This course will make you think.
I like this course. It is a tight course with many obstacles. The greens were in very poor shape. They were sanded within the last 2 days and they had plenty of areas on the greens without grass. The rest of the course was very green and in good shape. I wish it was mandatory for the course to advertise on the website when they have aerated or sanded the greens. It gets annoying when a good round gets tarninshed by poor greens.
Not awefull
It the greens were in good condition it would be a really nice place to play. They plan on redoing the greens but not til 2016, I won't play there often until then.
This course is a great place to play
I loved that peacfullness of the place and the friendly staff. The place is challenging enough for a player like me that hs not played very long. Iwill definetly play here agai, and again.
Fun course. Great staff. Keeper!
Friendly and accommodating staff. The course is very nice, well kept, and has several Tee options. The holes have some variety and offer choices on approach as well as lines to play. A fun layout that allows one to have a variety of shots during the round.
Excellent Course in Great Condition & Good Value
My wife & I played Palm Beach Gardens 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Great value using GolfNow. Whites are 5,420, Blues 6,028 and Golds 6,504, Reds 4,690.
Very interesting layout, particularly the back 9 which is more secluded in a nature preserve. Lots of birds and a few small gators. Very well maintained. Greens are elevated and large and generally bowl shaped which brings 3 putts into play. Greens fairly slow and a touch bumpy. Greens are soft & receptive. I fixed an average of 5-6 ball marks per hole. Lots of water and you need to think your way around the course.
Great GPS system gives you great tips on how to play hole and shows carts ahead of you which is very helpful.
My wife and I played one day in 3 hours 5 minutes but usually 4 -15.
Staff & Pro Shop are very friendly.
IWe defintely will be playing there again. My wife really enjoys this course and I do as well.
the greens were horrible
nice layout however no rangers on course, pace slowed by hackers, greens like shag carpet. Why cant they take a mower to 'em? Cart girl drove past us and up on the teebox. ?? Needs supervision and better management.
Best deal in town!!
Great Course in Natural setting. Greens could use a little TLC otherwise, new carts with great GPS and excellently maintained fiarways.
Narrow course always in good shape
This course is fairly narrow to begin with. Being right next to a marsh, when it has rained a lot it gets even narrower as many places that are usually dry turn into hazards. This course is always in good condition when I play.
Great track, not for beginners
The staff very accomadating. The track is a shot makers course. You can generally see that the course is well maintained but because of the 17 inches of rain it was either 90 degree rule or stay on the cart path. There are quite a few blind shots and unless you have played the course a few times don't expect to score your best.
On the 9th hole say hello to a very big alligator(but from a distance).
Overall, can't wait to play it again.
Always a fun course at a great rate
Very good course for all skill levels, especially for a municipal course. Staff is friendly and helpful with loading or unloading your clubs.
Nice design. A good challenge for the average golfer.
Course was flooded when we played in september 2012. Course open only first 9 hole. Nice course for what we could play on.
