Martin Downs Country Club - Osprey Creek Course

Martin Downs is a terrific layout. The set of Par 3s is tremendously strong with a variety of yardages. This course is playable for high handicaps, but also presents a good test for better players. It’s not overly penal off the tee, which I like, but poor shots certainly pay a steep price.

Given this was my first time playing the course, I never felt like I had no idea where to hit it; there are no gimmicks.

Could use some TLC on the tee decks and fairways. Depending on your handicap, you may want to play preferred lies. Greens are good though, which is paramount obviously.

Strongly recommend playing here. You will enjoy it!

Layout ok., greens, tees, fairways in bad shape They need chemicals to kill weeds and fertlixzer and seed or sod to replant everywhere

Was not rushed, and never caught the group in front of us. Conditions were fair for the price. Significant improvement since may 2022 when I played here last. I will be back again soon!

I hope they continue to invest in the turf, and really work on getting the fairways and greens nicer.

A bit of consistent work on the turf will make this course beautiful!

Slow play. Green fast but alot of patches.and bompy.

Crab grass, waiting at every hole to play, staunch front desk staff and starter, no toilet paper in the ladies room on the course, no 9 hole rate. Not worth $70 for 9 holes. Would never play here again!

Every hole is interesting and fun. Conditions are acceptable

This place should be closed. It is a dog track! The fairways are non existent and the tee boxes are dirt. The greens are closely cut weeds. It’s just embarrassing.

It’s not a money issue for the owner, there is plenty of new equipment mowing the weeds and rolling the dirt greens. You couldn’t pay me to go back there.

Just embarrassing.

Fun track. Greens fast and in good condition except on 2 holes.

My group teed off at 2:15 and were be hins 4 novice golfers. We waited EVERY shot! Painstaking!!! The course conditions were a little rough but the greens rolled well. I thought it was well worth the price except for pace of play. We didn't finish all 18 holes due to darkness.

Some delays at the entrance gate. The course is above average. Fast greens fairways a little hard ball rolls great. The staff is very friendly. This place usually runs very well. Thanks Jimmy and staff for all your efforts
