Martin Downs Country Club - Osprey Creek Course

I have played here for several years. The course is an excellent layout, and the greens are usually perfect. Unfortunately, the course way overbooked for the day and we had a noon tee time and it was almost 2 hours longer before we tee off. Pace of play was slow, in essence, we only got to play 10 holes. Extremely disappointing.

The main thing I appreciate was the effort the staff took in accommodating us after an “event” caused a potential 30 minute delay. Instead of just shrugging, the starter took us to an empty hole (10th) behind the event and we were able to continue at a good pace.

Pace of play was horrible with numerous At times having four groups on one hole yes that’s what I said four groups on one hole Untolerable to play your game with these conditions

Course has a nice layout. Hole 3 should be par 5 from green tees. 419 is a little long for seniors.

Overall good experience. Greens were nice. Pace 4 hours and 20 minutes.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The greens were fast and In pretty good shape with a couple rough spots. Some of the fairways were like playing in the desert and there were no rakes for the traps.

Was not good it wouldn’t coordinate a twosome it was saying it had one players available so my friend canceled and I went solo and then there was nobody to play with then they put me with a couple guys it wasn’t a smooth outing

The fairways and primary rough are both a little rough. Greens were good and ran at a good pace.

Always depend on decent conditions and friendly staff
