Martin Downs Country Club - Osprey Creek Course

The course is fair, the T boxes can use some maintenance, the layout is okay, should have better markings specifically for a first timer.

The course conditions were awful! What was considered fairway was nothing but stringy grass and lots of bare spots where you had to move the ball to get some grass. The course has three things going for it; the layout, the sand and the greens. Although a little furry, the greens putted well.

I would definitely not recommend people to book here. There are better options in the area!

The course was in good condition. There was some sand on the greens but not enough to affect play. Afternoon play was finished in 4 hours! Great value for the money. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

11:40 tee time; took 4 1/2 hours to play 18. Lots of sand traps, normal FL water hazards. Greens in good shape, fairways a litle bit rough , could use some weed treatment. No real complaints.

Greens were awful condition. Probably not cut for several days. Weeds were plentiful throughout the course and tee boxes. Will not return.

I play Martin Downs yearly every February. Pros: decent greens, good pace of play, ease of booking, friendly staff, good bar and food inside. Cons: tee boxes are worn and need repair. Any areas other than the greens or fairways are in rough shape with weeds. Course just needs a little revitalization to make it

The course conditions have remained fairly consistent over my ten years. So I know what to expect and still find it worth it for the money.

Excellent pace of play. Course is challenging but could use some work. Worth the money.

Course has a nice layout, but is somewhat in need of repair. Several of the fairways particularly in the back 9 are mostly hard dirt with very limited grass. Pace of play was excellent. Staff was super courteous and friendly. Bunkers were in good shape and strategically placed so as to protect the greens. Overall this is a somewhat challenging course but fair with the exception of the dir fairways on several holes

This was our third time playing during our 5 week stay in the area. We enjoy the course and the people are the nicest. The layout is great and you can challenge yourself based on which tees you play. It is sometimes challenging getting through the gate, depending on the time of day. Worth playing!

Pleasant place to play. We will be back next year.

Fairways are in real bad shape. Needs a lot of work to make somewhat acceptable. Greens however were much better.
