Paid for 18 holes....played 11.
Hole 9 my foursome and I got attacked by fire ants on the 9th tee box. By hole 11 we stopped playing, had to get to a Pharmacy quickly - to many fire ant bites.
Tee box 9 - we waited to warn the group behind us. They told us they also got attacked by fire ants on an earlier tee box.
Only front 9 is open for play. Replacing greens on back 9. Grass on tee boxes is very long. Large bare spots in all fairways. Had to place ball just to find some grass. Rough is overgrown. Greens had almost no grass. Aeration holes visible. Ball rolled extremely slow. Switched to the 2 putt max rule. I basically ended up focusing on swing form & ball contact. With all the play modiciations & the $25 fees, it was still better than just hitting the range. If you're only looking to practice and not score, it might work for you!
Back nine closed
Be advised, back nine is closed for refurbishing of greens and fairways. Apparently this will take three to four months. This is needed as the course could use some TLC. Nice layout, and pace of play are both fine.
Course
Greens was in terrible conditions as well as the fairway. Will never play there again and will never recommend to a friend or anyone unless I hate them
Worst Conditions
Worst golf course conditions in the area. Greens not pitiable, fairways are weeds, bunkers in poor shape.
Very disappointed
I have played this course many times the last few times I played the greens were not in the Greatest shape. This time the greens were horrible. No grass at all nothing but sand all over them . Unputtable ! Tee boxes, not the greatest, and some fairways were really bad also.. there’s no way I would’ve played here if they would’ve told me beforehand. I have been a member of GolfNow for years and it would be nice if I got some kind of refund
The worst course I have ever played
I have played golf for over 40 years all of the country and this is by far, the worst course, in every facet, I have ever played.
The course will say they just airated the greens and over seeeded but this place is horrible shape.
The cart attendent was rude and unhelpful. There was a foursome holding up everyone and no ranger to be found.
This is clearly one of those courses where they put as little money into it as possible and leaving you feel nothing but ripped off. As I said, the worst course I have ever played and I will never go back
One of Best Course in FL
Each time I play here, I'm reminded of why I love the game. The course is always immaculately kept, offering a fair and enjoyable challenge. But honestly, it's the friendly faces that make the biggest difference. The staff here has that special knack for making you feel right at home. It's just a genuinely pleasant and welcoming place to spend a day on the course. My go-to spot!
Cool design, ok conditions
No real driving range or practice area. The greens and fairways were a little beat up. I wasn’t disappointed, price was fair for the conditions. It’s a pretty cool design. No holes felt the same and the course has a lot of character. Will definitely play again
