Palm Harbor's narrow, bending fairways are lined with towering palms, oaks and pines. Combine this with elevated greens and you have a course that demands accurate shots. The creativity in the design is the use of large bunkers. This course is more accessible for golfers of all handicaps and abilities, and easier to manage.
Play this course as a warm-up, work on your accuracy and iron play.

The course has many open fairways but lots of hazards. Greens are a little bumpy because fairways and greens are under repair but all in all great course to play.
So so day at Palm Harbor
Overall a very average course. Not a bad layout but the condition of the course was poor. Tee boxes were just ok, lots of bare patches in the fairways and rough, sand in bunkers were inconsistent with many of them having way too much sand in them. The worst part of the course were the greens. They were topped dressed and covered in fertilizer which stunk and super slow. Lastly, they need to pony up a little cash and purchase some new range balls.
Tough to Get On
The location of the Palm Harbor course makes it very popular. It gets a lot of play, but is in pretty good condition considering, especially when compared to the less than stellar conditions at other public courses nearby. They do a nice job with what they have to work with. Pace of playing is pretty good, although with public golf, that's a hit or miss proposition. I do think they keep pretty good tabs on things, since there was an issue with whether I paid (I did), and they seemed to know exactly where I was on the course and came out to talk to me.

Palm Harbor
Played on 3/21/23. Course was in decent shape seeing it’s early in the year. Some of the tee boxes were a bit beat up, but nothing crazy, again it’s early in the year. Greens were in very good shape and the course has a nice layout. I’’ definitely going to play it the next time I’m down in Florida again. The best part is I saw my first ever alligator, and then a second one in Florida playing golf. Thanks
Course is in solid shape
Always hate it when course has. Fivesome playing in front of us…seem to be a buddy job from starter…We were delayed on starting and we didn’t catch group to 3rd hole playing 5 out of 4 bags…
