About
This 18 hole championship course opened in 1992 and was designed by Bill Amick. The shady fairways are bordered by huge sprawling oaks and towering pines, nestled in the shadows of Bulow and Tomoka State Parks in Ormond Beach. The course features five elevated tee boxes and fast, contoured, highly manicured greens adequately protected by traps. A unique experience for the golfer who enjoys not only a challenge but also extraordinary scenery.

Fairways
Fairways need attention and greens are starting to show signs for weeds. Please don't let the greens get out of hand as qe really like this course.
Nice course
Staff was very friendly. There was a lot of rain last night but the course was in good shape, especially as the day progressed.
Overated course…not 4 star
The staff very friendly and helpful. The course is in very bad shape, not only in very bad shape, you can tell the whole place needs love and attention to detail. Even washing your balls you could tell the water hadn’t been changed in weeks, it smelled rancid yauk! I’m a business person and I really felt sorry for the course management, what a waste of energy. Sorry we’ll never go back there again!
hardest green yet
the course layout is pretty standard with little water in play for Florida but the real test comes when your on the greens if you can two putt hear on every hole your great with the short stick

The course is very nice fast greens and friendly staff. Would definitely play here again.
Sad
I was looking forward to playing this course, tee boxes are terrible, fair ways no better. Green were nice, but a speed was too fast.
Nothing green
Fairways are brown, this is the worst shape I have ever encountered here. I know we had a cold winter but why raise prices when your course is in bad shape. This is the most I have ever paid in the years I have been golfing here. The overall experience has gone down hill . Even the men’s locker room needs some attention and the closure on a door leading out is still broke
Great course
Greens are fast and wavy. Fun and challenging. Fairways are wide and open. Over all beautiful course
Fun and fair course
I thouroughly enjoyed this round of golf. We played from the black tees so at 7,000 plus yards it was a real challange. The fairways were pretty large and the rough areas were very clean.
I totally enjoyed it.
Note to the starter guy, if you don't like your job do something else.
Too expensive for course condition

Wait for the Grass to Grow
This is a very nice, playable layout. However, the fairways were hard as rock and very little grass was growing. The greens ran true and were very fast. Pace of play was OK.
Nice layout, but typical public course issues
I had not played here in nearly three years. Decided to see what shape it was in for myself. Greens aren't too bad, I think replaced a few years ago. The fairways are quite then and likely will still be so in summer. The bunkers have something in then that doesn't deserve to be called sand.
I restaurant is quite nice with good selection and preparation. There's a tavern and a dining room to fit your mood.

No way you should be playing those tees with that handicap! Im sure it was 5-6 hours
