Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Great muni. Love the layout. Some greens are not good. If you avoid the Sandtraps on the greens. It's good.

Buffalo Creek has improved dramatically over the last several years. They have a new pro shop and the pro shop staff service is always friendly and professional.

Golf course playing conditions this season are the best I have ever seen. The fairways are in good shape and the Bermuda rough due to recent rains is healthy and to be avoided if you want to score well. The greens were recently aerated and sanded so they were naturally rolling true but slower than usual. The pace of play was excellent at 2 hours and 45 minutes for our twosome at mid-afternoon. The golf course has several strategic watering stations with bathroom facilities. The staff has continued to improve this golf course over the last several years and management should be commended.for these improvements.

They had just punched but greens still ran pretty true. I think there were only two occasions where I feel a bump near the cup steered my ball wrong.

Hole number one fairway was really water logged like they had a sprinkler break to something.

The layout is really cool and we really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to play it again.

Buffalo Creek's fairways were cart path only due to recent heavy downpours. The staff needed to protect the fairways from cart traffic since they were still soft. Playing conditions were lift, clean, and place due to the soggy conditions on that day. But the course really needed the rain, consequently the fairways were in the best condition I have ever seen them. The greens ran true albeit slower than usual and with strong grain. The pace of play was excellent playing as a single in 2 1/2 hours.even with cart path only conditions.. The course was naturally playing very long due to the wetness. The practice pitching & chipping grass area was in good shape and despite the wet conditions the driving range was open. The practice putting green was well maintained and kept at the same ball speed pace as the rest of the golf course. Had a great time.

The course, except so wet from all the rain, was excellent! The staff are courteous and very helpful. Could only get in 8 holes before a big storm came in. :(

Some greens were in ruff shape, overall the fairways were all soggy but still ok for the money

Holes 5 and 6 had the sprinklers on when we arrived 5 was completely flooded with a huge puddle in the middle of it. 6 was not bad, sprinklers were off when we got to the green but was soggy to the point of not being able to put. I was just taking my son out for a round before he went back to college Tried to upload photos, but would not accept. The ranger came and shut it off after I called the from desk. Otherwise very enjoyable.

Been playing this course for the last two decades. Didnt see the huge alligator that lives there. Greens were nice and fairway was too. Some rough areas in between faiways but overall good. No water on the course, nothing at the tee boxes and the restroom water was empty. So hot, no cart girl either, what a loss.

Course in great shape considering the weather good fairways , little bit of damage to some greens but overall in great shape . We love this place as our local course…

Finding yardage markers was impossible, No GPS on the carts and no markers on the course except a few old dome markers in the fairway that were not colored, all were dirty white and the yardage markers which is the easiest thing to do where all gone. Just get 3 cans of paint, red, white, blue and slap a stripe on the cart part. simple fix. No yardage markers makes it difficult, NOT everyone has a gps app or yardage scope. Course was fun and the guy at the pro shop was extremely nice.
