Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Great layout. Course was in good condition but Some of the greens were not in great shape. Pace was very slow. Definitely need a ranger to keep pace of play quicker. Overall, a good experience. Would recommend 😎

The course layout was nice. Staff was very friendly. Driving range mats were terrible like hitting off of concrete. Fairways and the tee boxes were in good shape. But the greens were terrible. I will not be going back there this year. If you get a good price off of T. off, it might not be a bad place to play, but if not don’t pay full price

Poorly administered and terribly maintained.. Worse course that I have ever played in 50 years!!This is not an egalitarian..Greens had very little grass and most of the course was just brown sand..

The course is in overall good shape. The greens are a disaster.

If you are going to raise prices, take the extra income and fox the greens. Eveything else is in playable shape but theres no excuse for the greens to be as bad as they are. Come on……do better

We were very happy with the condition of the fairways and most of the t-boxes and greens.

Fairways were in good shape. I've always like the layout there. However the greens are in very bad shape.

First time at Buffalo Creek. Staff were great. Nice range and practice area, good layout. Unfortunately, conditions could be better - tee boxes good, fairways ok, given lack of rain, greens were in rough shape with a lot of dead patches and sand.

I enjoyed the course and will definitely play again with hopes for some rain and better greens.

This was a casual vacation round. We managed our expectations for a muni course during a drought. We rate everything 4/5 stars. FAST greens, front 9 significantly better shape than back 9. Lots of gators, especially Goliath, their mascot. Pace of play was fast despite other reviews stating the opposite. There was a gross smell on the 5/6th holes…probably close to the county waste water treatment facility. Make sure you play these holes quickly. Great value for money compared to lots of other 18-hole rounds in the area. Good tee boxes for all skill levels, lots of straight holes, and waters always on the right.

The course is taking advantage of busy season charging rates that are NOT worth it. $75 for an 8:30 tee time is not good when all of your greens are damaged. The 16 and 17 green were unplayable. I won’t be back to play Buffalo until more reviews start coming in saying that greens are coming back.

Word of advice - Play early if you are going to play. Pace of play is usually terrible, but I typically have had success with pace playing early here.

Much better courses in the area for a better price.

Fairways were in decent shape. Rough is all dead. Greens ran great….when they weren’t under repair. 17 of 18 greens had dead areas, the fringe was not cut because of the dead spots leaving to mounds of grass that couldn’t be putt through. 17 the green is completely DEAD, only grass was a 3 foot circle around the hole.

We used to play this course every other week. Hadn’t played it in about 6 months.

Will not play again for another year.
