Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Course itself was fine…especially for off season.

Pace of play was great.

Staff was great.

Was hoping to see Chubb’s…didn’t though.

Greens were rough due to fungus thing that affect many FL course.

It should be noted the course is located right next to a sewer/water treatment plant… smelled like shizz for my round. I’m told it all depends on which way the wind is blowing…a rather stinky gamble!

None the less first time playing there and first round of the year for me while visiting from WI…got to play with a few great local guys which was great!!

Overall a decent course and experience!

We’ve played there 5-6 times and the tee boxes and fairways were in the best shape ever. Greens not so much. All in all it’s a nice layout and a good deal for the money.

Tees & fairways in good shape. Greens are a work in progress but still playable

Fairways were great. But the greens basically made the course unplayable. Great patches of the greens were nothing but dirt and seed. Might as well not putt.

Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. A lot of terrain makes it challenging. The greens were definitely in poorer shape for some reason.

I have play this course for over 20 years. Never saw the greens so bad. Definitely will not play here again. Manatee County should remove Fusion Golf from this course. They are ruining what use to be a decent track.

I always enjoy playing this course! Been a few months this time the tee boxes andfairways were very well maintained, slight issue with some of the greens, causing some poor ball rolls.

Smell from sewage next door was unbearable, greens were terrible. For the price don’t go

We had a 7:24 tee time . We drove up to the 1st

Tee at 7:22 the starter scolded us for being tardy and said we had to catch up to other 2golfers in

Our foursome. At the 8th hole the ranger said we had to pick up our pace of play because there was a gap ahead of us. We played the front nine in under 2 hrs. At no time was the group behind us waiting to hit.! On the 10th green another ranger said there was a gap ahead of us so we had to pickup our pace! When we told him we played the front in under 2 hours and group behind us weren’t waiting he cussed us out and said he would kicked us off the course. I’ve golfed for over 40 years and never written a complaint on any course . I’ve never experienced anything like this before. If you look online you’ll see a number similar complaints.

Greens are very bad painted green but just dirt. Smells like Buffalo dung I guess that's why they call it Buffalo Creek golf course.

Course was busy as usual. Course shows the wear of the busy season. I like this course. Greens are challenging. Didn’t see any gators which is unusual but did see a big flock of parrots

Coursetee boxes and fareways were on good shape Iand green in good condition. Back none greens were on bad shape but in process of repair

Tee boxes, fairways in good shape. Several greens looked rough and looks like they are reseeding. Also needs watering.

Considering drought, course is in good shape, not my game though.

Will play again.
