About
Moccasin Wallow Golf Club (previously known as Imperial Lakewoods Golf Club) is located at the intersection of I-75 and I-275 on exit 45 in Palmetto, less than a 30-minute drive from Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota. The course was designed by Ted McAnlis around 200 beautiful wooded acres with 16 lakes. The course's signature hole, No.18 (550 yard, par 5 dog leg around Imperial Lake), is chosen year after year by local golfers as the best par 5 in southwest Florida

Nice day at The Moc!
The greens were in great shape, and fast! Much better than the last time we played there. Nice bar inside with water views, too.
Trying a new course
We have not plated this course before because awhile back the reviews were not good as to the course conditions. Well over the last couple of months the reviews were good so we thought we would try it out. We will definitely be back. Course was in nice shape, greens were great, tee boxes were good, and fairways only had a few bad spots. My wife and I both really enjoyed our round and look forward to playing again

The course was in great shape. Greens were pristine. Pace was slow but that’s florida in the winter. Will be back time and time again.
Moccasin Wallow
Lovely day and a wonderful Golf round . I was very impressed by the warmth of the staff. Course has a great layout with a variety of challenging holes. Just a great venu.

Worth the money
This was a great find near to Siesta Key where we are staying. The staff were very friendly and I have no complaints about the course. The greens were fast and true. All in all it was a great day out.
Friendly welcome .....
As stated, we could not have been more impressed by the welcome of the friendly pro shop attendant.
The course itself has some interesting holes and a driver is not always the obvious choice from the tee. We did feel however that the overall asthetics of the course wasn't always pleasing to the eye... a bit shabby in parts. HOWEVER..... the greens were excellent.
We will come back again, just some attention to detail needed to bring this course right up to spec.
Much improved
I played back in April and was disappointed in conditions. Gave mediocre review, played again 11/12 and was night and day difference for the better! Greens we’re very good and course conditions were outstanding, looking forward to play again!
First time here. Not very difficult or challenging but had a fun round of golf. Good value for the money
The only problem was we book on line but nothing showing on there end. Good thing they weren’t busy. Please get back to me.
Good greens
Me and my wife played, we loved the greens. Fairways and tees need some attension. We will play again.

Course in great condition. All aspects, greens fairways traps, rough, great. Pace of play a little slow. Staff great.a very enjoyable day.
A renovated course with new management and facilities
I would return to Moccasin Hollow for another round sometime. Everything was OK, from the course conditions, to the staff. The lady at check-in was very nice and accommodating - plus, she was an Ohio State football fan. The course itself seemed to be very well maintained. And the bar and lunch facilities looked pretty good. We didn't eat anything, but they do have a menu as well as specials for the day, and a full service bar including liquor.
Must play! Fantastic shape!
I played The Moc today and it was in fantastic shape! The greens are beautiful and roll very smooth. The fairways and tees are great as well. Kudos to the staff on doing such a good job!
Great Day of Golf
I took my lady friend to the Moc for the first time. She thought it was a great and fair course for the ladies. We had two foursomes let us play through which sped up our round. Nice people!! :)

Wow...the last time I was here it a 3 out of 5 stars.On the day the course was EXCELLENT!!The greens rolled true(a lot of 1 putts)they were PERFECT!!The fairways were in tip top shape and cut to perfection.Kuddos to the grounds crew,who helped me get my lowest score to date.81:)

Improvement over the last few years. Greens are slow but lush. Fairways are good with good lies. Will come back
