About
Editor's Note: The Meadows Course is currently closed, due to the damage from Hurricane Michael. See Bay Point Resort - Nicklaus Course listing for the remaining 18 holes that are still open.
Bay Point offers two scenic championship courses that are situated right along the Emerald Coast overlooking the pristine waters of St. Andrews Bay. Both golf courses offer a unique experience but the same beautiful scenery. The Meadows Course is classic country club golf with a playability that endures day in and day out. The layout features tight fairways, numerous bunkers, and lakes that present different challenges every time you play. The course is also heavily wooded with trees lining the fairways. One feature of the design that never changes though, is that it always demands accuracy and careful strategy. At 6,913 yards, the golf course allows long hitters to really shine. Bay Point's two 18-hole courses are complemented by practice facilities that include an immaculately manicured putting green and driving range.

Meadows is a solid $50 course
I feel like I played the same hole 12 times. The layout is bland. It is a good $50 vacation course, but I say spend the extra $30 and play the Nicholas Course. Conditions: Greens were slow but in good shape.
Fantastic
Beautiful fairways and greens. You get a nice discount if you play after 3pm.
Solid, typical Florida golf
This is a solid but not spectacular course. Greens were in good shape and fairways were also in good condition. Rough was extremely thick in some places, sparse in others.
Tee time was 3:10 and in the hot of the day. Paid the afternoon rate which made it a bargain in this area. Had the course to myself and played a leisurely round in about 3 hours.
Bay point Meadows
My wife and I played the course and it was in good shape. Pace of play was good so we played in about 3:30. Staff was nice and friendly. I would recommend the course.
The Meadows
Nice course for the money. Got just a little slow and there were no Marshalls.
Excellent course for the price
Pro very helpful staff excellent. Never had to wait on any hole. Staff in lounge also excellent. Will return
Great GolfNow value
As usual GolfNow allowed my golfing group to play an over-priced course at an affordable rate. The course maintenance crew does a fabulous job considering all of the flooding problems. Highly enjoyable day and we played in 3:20 minutes.
good course,slow play
like a lot of PCB courses they have no one on the course to keep the play moving.they are more interested in getting people on the course than keeping the pace up for those playing on the course.this makes for a bad day,and reluctance to come back.
A MUST PLAY EXPERIENCE
MY WIFE AND Ii PLAY 1 TO 2 TIMES A WEEK.
MAINLY FOR PLEASURE BUT ARE COMPETITIVE.
THE COURSE WAS SLIGHTLY WET BUT IN SUCH GOOD CONDITION THAT IT DID NOT EFFECT OUR QUALITY OF PLAY. PERFECT CONDITION FOR A GREAT ROUND OF GOLF.
Beware if there is a tournament
My wife and I took advantage of a Golfnow Hotdeal price and booked for 1:50 pm tee off. We were paired up with two pleasant guys and told we would tee off about on time. We went to the tee and watched the group ahead of us tee off, and waited for the starter to come and take our receipt. After a few minutes he arrived and told us some people who were part of a shotgun-start tournament would be playing through. We had to wait while five foursomes played through. Not pleasant. No apology. It was dark when we finished.
The course has very nice greens but slow
Many holes are tree-lined and narrow, so straight drives are a must. The course was very wet, and we learned that it had been closed for 2 days previously. It does not drain well. Not recommended after a heavy rain. The greens were in very good shape, but needed mowing. The fairways were not overseeded with rye and the Bermuda was dormant. Tees and greens were overseded.
Never get tired of playing The Meadows !
Played this course often.I find it challenging.some holes are fairly wide but then you have others that are tight off the tee or coming into the greens, bunkers are well placed to make you think about your distances. Some nice dog legs forcing you to target your shots.18 is a nice finishing hole coming into the green watch out for water at right side of the green it seems to swallow a lot of balls.i will play here again Enjoy
Fairway not in very good shape
The fairways on the Nicklaus course are in much better condition. I didn't like the way the grass is cut leading up to the greens - very bumpy and holey.
nice layout
Was impressed with the layout of the course. Had always played the Nicklaus course that is more difficult and more expensive which in my opinion takes the fun out of it. My advice would be play this course first.
Meadows
Quiet and clean course. A must play course before playing the Nicholas course.
DISAPPOINTED
FAIRWAYS HAD THE TYPE OF WINTER KILL THAT I WOULD EXPECT IN DENVER ,BUT NOT FLA. A MUNI COURSE 7 MILES AWAY WAS IN MUCH BETTER SHAPE
Winter Golf
Short but thought. Wind can be deceptive making it more challenging
coures was great
golf course was wide open b4 our time, 45 mins b4 our time but as per the local mangement they would let us go because we where on golfnow, they let 2 singles & a twosome that where late fore there tee times to go ahead of us. per the starter because we where on GOLFNOW. WE TEED OFF 10 MINS AFTER OUR TIME BUT AS A FOURESOM WE WHERE HELD UP ALL DAY LOUNG.
Great Course
Played as a single in just 2 hours. Course is tight and well maintained.
