Legacy Golf Club

First time playing and we had a ball. Greens were fast as lightning for this beginner but the course is fairly and challenging.

Not a bad course for the area. Wish the greens had more grass on them.

Enjoyed the layout. Greens were somewhat bare of grass so not always rolled true. Easy to get to from the Panama City Beach area. Practice are was nice even though you couldn't use driver.

Don’t allow singles to go off before 8am even though almost every tee time before then is not booked. Seems like the best time to allow singles to play alone.

Checking in was easy, it was prepaid. I asked if we might get off early; very few others around & few cars in lot. He immediately said no mam. We loaded our bags, etc on cart. Starter drove up asking if pro shop had told us how to get to driving range & where to get free range balls. He seemed surprised we were told nothing.

Within 30 minutes starter said he had sent a twosome out earlier & would send us out too.

Great day except front desk is lacking people skills!

Regular price is high and probably not worth the cost. You usually can catch a deal and then it is a good bargain.

As I arrived, I was meet by a staff who informed me that the course was closed due to weather. I'll try again on Tuesday afternoon.

I typically play the Destin courses, but a friend recommended Legacy. It did not disappoint. Fairways and greens (super fast) were perfect. Great value for money. I'll be back.

The course advertises the best greens in the area. But they have cut them too short, leaving patches of little or no grass making putts fast but difficult to read because they are so bumpy. Add to that the day we played the greenskeeper placed many holes on top of ridges or hills in the green. It detracts from the enjoyment of trying to make birdies or saving pars or bogeys. The course layout is non distinct … you don’t come up to one hole and say boy, I would like to play this one.

Play this course using hot deal or later in the day as $110 prime time rate for the course is too much. Greens were spotty and had disease developing on some. Played in less than 3 hours because course was not crowded in the mid morning. Have played this course for years and it has lost a lot of quality and price has gone way up.

Overall the course is in pretty good condition. Greens are fast but roll true. Very nice and helpful staff. Enjoyed our round would go back.

Severe weather closed the course, would like a refund

We ended up booking to play this course a second time. Conditions, price and proximity made the decision easy enough to book again. We were paired with another couple which made it even more enjoyable.
