About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Fun course
Nice course, friendly, accommodating staff. Pace a little slow. Carts were nice.
Just wish they had "Ball Washers" on at least half of the holes, but none that we seen!!!
I enjoyed this round.
I enjoyed this round. I played as a single and got paired up with a golfer very familiar with the course. Staff/Starter was awesome!!
Course is in great condition
The staff is extremely friendly from the young lady in the pro shop and the young lady in the bar to the starter and the gentleman that met us in the parking lot with the cart all were very courteous and helpful made for a great day
Decent if you can get the right price
The course is decent, has some weird holes but overall challenging. Condition was alright besides the fact they seem to get a lot of players with poor golf etiquette. Multiple greens had giant divots from I could only assume was someone stomping a ball directly into the green. So they could use a Marshall on the course, but I will be back playing again the afternoon times are a decent price for the area and quality.

Fun track with ample fairways! The greens are terrific! Fast and faster! I would play again just to test myself on those greens!

Overpriced
Course is an ok course certainly not worth what they are charging .the course was not in that great of shape . It’s a 40 dollar course at best
Good time
First time playing here since last winter, greens were good and fairways were fine although several were cart path only because of over night rain. Was able to tee off a little early and got around in 3’30”. Would I recommend or play again? Got a tee time Sunday!!!
