Legacy Golf Club
About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Fastest greens ever & best condition
I hadn’t played here in a few years & it was in great shape .The fairways are good & the greens are so fast it was difficult to score. Booked thru golf now so the price was better than the course rate but still overpriced for a late t time. Pace of play was great..played in just over 4 hours.
Good golf course
Greens very nice, but very fast. Very challenging and large undulating greens. Staff very accommodating. Carts new and have very accurate GPS. Had a good day!!
Good course
Course is in good shape. The greens are mowed short and there's not a ton of grass on them so they roll fast. I like fast greens so that was fine. Everything was mowed and course layout is pretty good. I didnt expect it to be pristine
for 85 bucks, this time of the year. Course wise, I'd play it again. Thing that impressed me the most, was the staff! Everyone was very polite and very friendly.
Nice Course
Typical Florida Public Course. In decent shape and played a little slow, but all in all and nice round of golf. Not sure about everyday, but greens were very fast and true. Everyone was super friendly and the beer was cold. If I’m in the area again, I’d play it again.
Nice track
Course was renamed from holiday golf club to legacy golf club. Daily rate was increased significantly but Golfnow was half the price. Course tees, fairways, and greens were in good shape considering the season. Greens were cut really short and rolled to alleviate the small amount of POA. Played with two other Golfnow people that were very corteous
Good course
Enjoyed the round. Good course with a challenging layout. Greens are sparse on grass and very fast. Fairways are thin and tees aren't level. Value was average considering it was winter in Florida. I wouldn't want to pay $100 to play here. Watch for a hot deal..
Holiday/Legacy
I played in February, so the course was just starting to grow grass coming out of winter, so it was a bit spotty everywhere. The layout was nice and demands you be able to move the ball both directions off the tee. There was a good amount of po-anna grass on the greens, and that made putting a challenge. The plants were mature enough to change the direction of ball travel, and also cause the ball to bounce. This seems to be a standard in the PCB area, Bay Point GC has it so bad it's prohibitive. Play Legacy and avoid Bay Point.
Nice challenge
Good layout, changeling doglegs, a little water you should be able to start clear of. Fairways in good condition for February. Bermuda on greens is still immature and needs more warm weather, but breaks were true. Fast due to immaturity of the grass. Pace of play perfect. Guys at pro shop and starter very cordial and helpful.
The only odd thing out of all of this was the woman behind the bar at the turn... didn't look up from her phone and even directed one of my playing partners to look for his own chips in a storage room! Needs supervision!
Best golf in pcb
Great conditions...friendly staff...only minus is fairways are close together
Great staff, great carts w/GPS, not so great greens
1st time playing here, for $96 I expected a lot more from the course. Given it’s the “off season” the fairways and bunkers were in great shape. The greens however were not. The nicest green on the course was the practice green by the club house, after that it was green after green of weeds, fungus and untreated sandy edges. Nothing like throwing dart and then trying to putt out over all these weeds. I was paired with a local that said that this place is always like this, so not sure where that $100 per player is going because it’s certainly not to any grounds keepers
