About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Good Greens
Course was about as expected based on other reviews.. not a $90 course, but also not a ton to choose from within 10 miles. Greens were in great shape, had interesting undulation, and very firm which made scoring well pretty tough.. course overall is pretty open with well placed water hazards. Not super exotic, but solid layout overall. I would play it again.
Nice course, too expensive
Nice course, greens were about as fast as any I’ve ever played. We got a “hot deal” for $80, regular rate was $120. Just too expensive. They’d get a lot more business if they would lower the greens fees. Staff was very friendly.
Okay course In Panama City
Pins were some what unreasonable on 4 of the holes. Interesting shop staff with friendly outside services.
Great Golf
Greens are excellent, rolled true, fairways are in excellent shape . Perfect weather paired with an excellent course made this an outing to remember. Pace was perfect.
Not a $100+ course
I’ve played The Holiday for 15 years and this is the worst condition I’ve seen it. Greens were not great and a lot of the tee boxes were full of dead grass and weeds. And now they want $100+ per round. I’ll go play Bay Point for less with better conditions.
Best value I could find in PCB
They had just sanded the greens but otherwise it was really good. Pace was fast. Everything else in Panama City is way too expensive.
Cost to much to play
I played on a hotdeal but trying to charge $110 for a muni course is stupid. Very weedy course more like a $40 course.
Holiday
The course was in good shape. But the green fees have increased soo much in since the last time I played it that I felt like a sucker.
