About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Great Course
I have played this course at different times of the year over the last 3 yrs it has always been in excellent condition the staff friendly and helpful. It is my favorite course in Panama City area

Second time playing the course. Course was in excellent shape, new greens are firm and challenging. First 18 went quickly, but third 9 was really slow pace of play. Could have used some help from the marshal.

Best Course in Panama
Played Holiday on Monday morning. This is the best course that we have played so far in Panama City. The Staff was very friendly. The cost of refreshments was high ($6 for two soft drinks in the Snack Bar). I guess that is why people bring their own drinks to the Course.

Prices for a soda in the snack bar are $1.60 for a fountain drink and $2.00 for a can. If there was a mischarge regarding your order we will happily reimburse you. We look forward to your next round!

Great course,
Played the blue tee's, fair test not over powering, even for us older guys. Fairways are in good shape and the greens are great, firm and rolling well. Will try to play again before leaving.

Fairways were iin very good condition. Ir you lime fast greens you will like this golf course.

Good Course for the Money
Would recommend for the cost. We had not played in 8 months and was perfect for our game. Open enough but in good condition. We played in 4 hours. Hole #16 is a little goofy with a tree in our way from the tee. Other than that, all was good.

Slow play
Play was very slow. Ranger did not seem to be doing anything except riding around. Only one restroom and drinking water on course.
Thank you for your review. Sunday was one of the best weather days we have had all year making it a very poplar day to golf. Early mornings are best if you are looking for speedier play. Each 9-holes circles back to the clubhouse for restroom breaks and water. We also provide cart service that offers beverages and snacks. Thank you for playing Holiday!

Super slow play
Booked for a decent price through Golfnow but only played 9 holes of 18. Play was so slow took 3 hrs for 9 holes and was too dark to finish. Holiday would not give me another time to finish the 9 holes and their reason was because I booked it through Golfnow. They had a tournament that caused the slow play. Nice looking course but this first experience at Holiday kind of ruined the enjoyment of the game that day.
