About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Worth It
Decent golf course. A good place for guest to play
My new go to course when I am in town
it has been a couple of years since playing this course due to the conditions of the course. I gave them another chance and was surprised to see that the condition of the course is MUCH improved and will now be my go-to when I visit PCB.
The only negative was the slow pace with no marshals on the course.
Very true consistent greens.
Teed off at 8:30 and we were finished by noon. Course isn't long but is a fair challenge for the average player.

Staff service was second to none. Manger and pro shop attendants were super friendly
Too expensive
It's winter so the course was in ok shape. Most people were nice enough but not all. Rental clubs had not been cleaned since the last time they were used. Couldn't reserve rental clubs, had to just hope they had some at our tee time. Didn't tell us there were balls in the rental bag so we bought balls we didn't need. Surprisingly, there was a beverage cart and that person was very nice. But overall, between the golf and cart fees and rental clubs, and a box of balls, we spent nearly $400 for 2 golfers and it was not worth that. Maybe $200 total for the opportunity to golf in the winter would have been worth it.
Great friendly staff, loved the course. Wish the driving range allowed drivers and fairway woods though.
