Nice course
Some holes were quite challenging without a course map or scorecard. Other holes felt familiar to others throughout the course. Overall, it was a very nice course. We enjoyed playing and would return for another round.

Great course for the money!!
I loved it...granted it was my first time playing. The staff were two older guys and one was hilarious. The greens were in great condition and the fairways were in good condition. I played twilight so I got 15 holes in starting at 5pm and I paid like $16 or something. It's a very fair course. You hit good shots and you get rewarded. Nothing to complain about. I'll definitely be back.
Very Poor Customer Service
we felt unwelcome. Three times over a 8week period. "we aren't making any money on you guys." I reminded them 24/7 bookings & national advertising you are getting. Left club house upset. Note can't get a sandwich after 2:30 pm course closed at dark.
The course is in very good shape
The course is in very good shape, the greens are surprisingly fast. fairways are in good shape as well.
The snack shack isn't much to look at, but the ladies working in there are super friendly and the food is normally very tasty. By the time we finished our round (3:00pm) the grill was closed for the day.
Nice local course
Course in good shape, always challenging layout. Usually enjoy it a lot, today not so much. Tee off time was delayed 30 min. Extremely slow play over 5 hrs! Chalk it up to lots of people deciding to show up and play with no tee time. CROWDED!
I will say it is not normally like this.
Enjoyed the course, have played it several times
I would like to see a Marshall to move play along by allowing the much slower players, mainly women that walk. We had to wait upwards of 12-16 minutes before we were able to get on the T-box. The slow pace tends to take most men out of their timing and rhythm. Thank you in advance. I will continue to visit Rancho Maria. Staff is very helpful. I last played on 6/22/15 Larry Fritz
Best Deal Going
Once a Santa Maria resident, I golfed at Rancho Maria all the time and loved it. I am happy to say that upon my return, the course has done naught but get better, with excellent fairways and greens and the same friendly staff that I used to know. Considering the fact that I only paid $16 on GolfNow for 18 with a cart, this is the best golf course for the money, period.
