About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Hard course
This is a challenging course. Conditions have improved dramatically in the last year.
Vacay Play
Beautiful course. Had some ground under repair spots but who doesn’t.
Great greens
Course also know as Lost Ball did not disappoint. The greens were perfect running around a 9.5-10 in my estimate. Most fairways can be played down. Highly recommend for a fun round. Pretty challenging for high handicap golfers however.
The course is great the fairways are very plush and the greens were well maintained and I would highly recommend playing this course if you are in the area
Great Golf Day
Had a great time playing golf at Lost Key GC in Perdido Key. It was only 10 minutes away from my rental and enjoyed the course very well. Lost 6-7 balls but found just as many. Haha
First Time Golfing in FLA
This was a pleasure to play Lost Key Golf Course. I’ve vacationed In Pensacola once before and passed up on golfing. Pace of play was great and the course was challenging at times but it was well worth playing and losing a bunch of balls. Some of the holes were beautiful and others lacked the charm. Well worth playing. Will play here again.
Greens
7 days prior to playing, lost key aerated the greens, the maintenance staff is outstanding. Beautiful greens on a solid 9 and a half meter were absolutely beautiful for putting. Still a few bare spots and hard pan, but well worth playing.
Decent Value
I paid $50 for a weekday morning tee time through GolfNow. Good value, but I would not have been happy if I'd paid closer to $100.
The fairways are amazing; the ball sits up like on a mat. Greens were decent but ridiculoulsy slow. Apparently the fairways and greens are the same type of grass. (?). The layout is pretty with some challenging holes. Tons of water and hazaards. Cart paths just disappear at times and you find yourself driving through sand. Starter was amazing and helpful. It's not Kiva Dunes or Peninsula, but much better than some of the other cow pastures in the area.
