About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Good course
Best greens I’ve played in a while. Wasn’t overly crowded so didn’t do any waiting between holes. Tight fairways so be prepared to lose some balls- lost key=lost ball. But overall really enjoyed this course. Will definitely play again ASAP. Also, food at the club house was great!

Awesome!
Enjoyed the course extremely tight fairways. Not much forgiveness if you miss fairways.
Staff was great from the time we pulled in until we left!! Highly recommend just remember it's a very tight course!!

Watch Out, There Is Water Everywhere
The course is very challenging with water hazards throughout. The course experienced two storms this past summer that devastated the gulf coast and did great damage to the course. This course did a better job of removing the downed trees than other courses in the area. The greens were very fast but true.

Too many singles and doubles on course we have a foursome and had to let two singles and two doubles play through which slowed us

Challenging but fun
This is a difficult course but it is well kept and a beautiful layout. Lots of water and thick foliage hazards. Fun nonetheless just be prepared to lose some balls.
