About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Absolutely a great course. Greens where amazing and true to your line. Bring all your clubs and read reviews before you play. 150 out is many times better the 100. Play smart and check you ego at the door

This is golf
Saturday tee time, rain forecasted. We had the course to ourselves. So a couple of holes with wet grips the ball found the outside boundaries. It just didn’t matter because the course is so beautiful. If the greens had been rolled four putting would have been common. Toughest course I have played in 50 years!

Course was tight lots of trouble
Greens were great true roll nice speed and very challenging
Fairways were a little rough but the layout was challenging
I really enjoyed it
To my surprise i didnt lose a ball

Plague is slow play
Rough tee boxes and fairways with super greens.
Started let me go out by myself. Played into a guy on 7 who was waiting on a twosome who was waiting on a foursome. On 10 we four played together waiting on the foursome. Called pro shop on 13 after watching and waiting 10 minutes on a par 3 green. Course folks did nothing. I quit in 15.

Perfect Day
Lost Key is always a pleasure to play. The coarse is in excellent condition especially the greens that roll fast and true. The staff is very friendly and a make you feel welcomed. This time of year isn't crowded and allows one to really enjoy a perfect round of golf. When I vacation in Gulf Shores this golf coarse is on the top of my list to always play several times.

great place to play
We had a foursome and we all enjoyed the round. The greens were large and extremely contoured. However they were in excellent shape. Having knowledge of the how the green sloped would have been extremely helpful. We had many 20-50 foot or more putts. The fairways were a little fuzzy but very playable. I love the variety of the holes.

Challenging course
The condition of the course was great as well as the pace of play. Would have enjoyed more if I played better. Difficult greens. Beautiful greens and course.Just difficult. .

This past August 2019, my wife and I took our son, his wife and 2 yr old son, our daughter, her husband and their two sons, 2 1/2 yr and 1yr old sons to Pensacola, FL. The boys and I went to Lost Keys golf course for a round of fun competition. The course was in amazing shape from the tee to green. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day of golf. Lots of tall grass and water.
This course was a challenge for my golfing skills. I seemed to find the tall grass a lot. Fairways and greens were excellent. Will definitely try and hit this course again when I go back next year.

Nice Staff, Bad gimmicky course
First off, the staff is professional and friendly and the conditions while a little underperforming due to dry conditions are fairly nice. The course layout is just too gimmicky to be fun. I understand having difficulties and challenges, but the back nine is just too tight and weird to be enjoyable. Save your money and go to other courses in the area. You will be happier.

Tough course
We have played LKGC a number of times. Course penalizes all miss hit shots. Not long but you are forced to be accurate. Very challenging if your driver isn't dead on. Fun little course

Difficult tight course
Greens were perfect. Many areas of dirt on fairways as no rain in 38 days. Be prepared for a challenging course.
