About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Tight course
Excellent greens but layout is very tight. Excellent shots are rewarded. Marginal shots are punished if you can find them. Lots of water.

Excellent golf course. Played 3 times in past 10 days. Greens are very good. Well maintained course. It's a very good idea to hit the ball straight on this one! Fun course. I play every year in December when we come to the beach.

Great layout but tough
Sometimes called Lost Ball, this course is interesting but can play tough with hazards everywhere. The greens are in great shape for winter. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fastest greens I've played this year
Pro style greens, fast &Rolling, you need to be accurate to hit fairways, club selection is very important

Absolutely a great course. Greens where amazing and true to your line. Bring all your clubs and read reviews before you play. 150 out is many times better the 100. Play smart and check you ego at the door

This is golf
Saturday tee time, rain forecasted. We had the course to ourselves. So a couple of holes with wet grips the ball found the outside boundaries. It just didn’t matter because the course is so beautiful. If the greens had been rolled four putting would have been common. Toughest course I have played in 50 years!

Course was tight lots of trouble
Greens were great true roll nice speed and very challenging
Fairways were a little rough but the layout was challenging
I really enjoyed it
To my surprise i didnt lose a ball

Plague is slow play
Rough tee boxes and fairways with super greens.
Started let me go out by myself. Played into a guy on 7 who was waiting on a twosome who was waiting on a foursome. On 10 we four played together waiting on the foursome. Called pro shop on 13 after watching and waiting 10 minutes on a par 3 green. Course folks did nothing. I quit in 15.
